~ TOP 100 Videogame Villains ! ( in their opinion )
[ According to Batman, criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot. Apparently he's never played a videogame. The bad guys in games are usually the last thing stopping the hero from getting the girl or saving the world. They typically don't run away, and they are often the ones setting nearly insurmountable obstacles for heroes to, well, surmount. Even after the heroes run their gauntlet, the villains are ready for a throwdown.
So what makes a great villain? He or she not only has to pose a real threat to the hero, but they have to be memorable. It's a villain's destiny to be defeated. That's just how it goes. But when the villain lives on in our hearts rather than the hero, they've won in their own way.
Here is our list of the best villains in games. Some scared us. Others made us laugh. All of them stayed with us long after we turned the game off. ]

I, personally, dig-
REVOLVER OCELOT !
-excerpted ;
[ The Metal Gear Solid franchise is best known for two things - its masterfully-executed and dynamic stealth-inspired gameplay, and its ingenious cast of villains that keep gamers both interested and outright riveted. One of the more famous examples of the latter is the elderly six shooter-toting man named Revolver Ocelot. Although the Metal Gear franchise harkens back to the 1980s, gamers weren't introduced to Revolver Ocelot until Metal Gear Solid was released on the PlayStation in 1998. There, Ocelot was a part of the hostile seizure of Shadow Moses Island in Alaska, and ever since then, he has been a perpetual mainstay in the Metal Gear Solid series, and is easily one of Snake's greatest and most recurring nemeses. After getting his hand slashed off by the devious Cyborg Ninja in the original Metal Gear Solid, it is revealed that Ocelot is actually part of a secret project that spawned other notable characters in the series, making him kin with the likes of Snake, and even the American President George Sears.
As if it were surprising to anyone who played the original Metal Gear Solid, the highly-convoluted and outright incomprehensible plot string that connects all of the games allowed Ocelot to jump around from title to title as well. In Metal Gear Solid 2, Ocelot's quick-draw hand got chopped off so it was replaced with the hand of Liquid Snake, which siphoned Liquid's personality through his body. Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 also featured an ever-evolving Ocelot, proving his tenacity and staying-power. And that's saying something, since the Metal Gear Solid franchise is absolutely rife with memorable villains. But none, perhaps, as memorable as Revolver Ocelot. ]
