Perverts Stun Caucuses in Minnesota, Colorado and Missouri with Frothy Results

Mr Santorum outperformed longtime front-runner Mitt Romney, who has struggled to connect with the party's conservative base.
Supporters in Missouri heard Mr Santorum declare victory for all those "building the conservative movement".
The eventual nominee will face Barack Obama in November's election.
Former House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich hardly campaigned in the three states that voted on Tuesday, and did not even appear on Missouri's ballot.

The old Church has done it again. Can you imagine a Santorum presidency. This is the guy who brought a dead fetus home from the hospital to show his kids. Last time we had the Catholic church flex its old golden muscles was when the pope came over, looked into the camera and said life begins at conception and "voila" four more years of Bush, now an egg is a fetus and a seed is a tomato and catchup is a vegetable. .Now it's going to be over whether or not women are just reproductive cows. Will Americans see through this? Probably not. We are a naive bunch when it comes to faith. Most of us still believe in the flat the garden of Eden and creationism. Jesus was a blond blue eyed six foot christian and we know because we have an autographed Polaroid of him on our mantle.

Any country that could elect Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and a couple of Bushes is certainly capable of electing a Santorum. To some degree, I felt that a closer examination of Mormonism and its inconsistency with the fundamentalist Christian base that plays such a powerful role in the Republican Party was going to rock Mitt back on his heels. Since Gingrich has his own Achilles' heel(s) with respect to orthodox Christian views of morality, I am not surprized that Santorum has been the beneficiary. Had Huckabee run again, he would likely have been the beneficiary of doubting Christians. But we are still in early days, and Mitt has quite a war chest in place for the races in the more populous states. That said, I am skeptical that Mitt, Newt or Rick has the broad appeal to consolidate the increasingly splintered Republican voter base. I keep asking myself whether the current electoral system could ever produce another Abraham Lincoln or whether we are doomed to decades more of presidents that range from below average to abysmal.

The GOP is officially dead. What you are looking at are the vultures scrapping for the last bits of conservative red meat. Santorum's win (assuming it's legitimate-and that's a big, big assumption on my part) reflects how bitterly divided conservatives have become. Romney on one end, Santorum on the other and Newt drifting somewhere between the two. This is not a good thing. No one can manage all the separate factions that have developed which means there is no cohesive message. It also means just about any fanatic philosophy can take root in the collapsed dung heap that was the GOP. In the past, this wouldn't have been that much of a threat. However with rise of electronic voting, it's a serious concern. All it takes is a computer savvy fanatic to rig an election. It was done in 2004 and IMO, again with Santorum. If this happens in November 2012 we could end up with this crazy as President.

Yeah, except the dynamics of street people today has drastically morphed into young voters WHO WANT THE SAME CHANGE OBAMA GAVE THE POOR MINORITIES.
They want their time in the sun (have a decent job), and if that means voting up one of theirs named Santorum they'll likely form into a Roman phalanx and get it just like they surrounded 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue back on November 06, 2011.
They haven't gone away. They're a wall fungus gaining strength from the moisture on the wall as they sit around watching stupid TV shows.
