I'm glad that he also stated that this settlement will not stop the investigation on those responsible for the housing crisis. So even though they have agreed to this settlement it doesn't exonerate them.

Meaning they could be prosecuted at any given time. No protection for the bankers, even individuals homeowners can sue, also the banks have to pay attorney fees. Does that sound like a plan or what?

Exactly. But if you read what the MSM is saying it is as if this is nothing. The lead prosecutor was on Rachel Maddow tonight and thoroughly explained it. It just too bad that most newscasts are taking the word of non-experts. I am so sick of everything this President tries to do being minimized. He has stuck his neck out on a number of issues where he is on the right side of history but the 'right-wing' criticize him on it and the press just eats it up because it sells. It doesn't matter if they are lying or not. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I agree wholeheartedly, I also believe it's because he's biracial, if you notice they never mention his white family that raise him, his mother was white. They classify him as if he was born without a mother. Republicans fight everything to the death and then cry nothing gets done.
