FL Bill HB213, The "Fair Foreclosure Act" Which SPEEDS UP Foreclosures without representation in Court!

I'm now SCARED & worried out of my mind.

Florida Republicans, so firmly in charge of our senate & house & in control at the wheel of what's left of the people of Florida; have moved quickly to approve a bill that COMPLETELY abolishes the ability of people to SAVE their HOMES from illegal or otherwise Foreclosures.

Florida republicans have the AUDACITY to call this thing, this
HB213 Florida Fair Forclosure Act; which will make it IMPOSSIBLE to even FIGHT Foreclosures at all, no attempt to FIX the problem or attack the root of Illegal Foreclosures, it is opposing everything good. Our euphemistically called Attorney General couldn't Be bothered to FIGHT illegal forclosures, FIRED the only investigators who were actually FINDING illegal activity & THEN had the AUDACITY to wait until almost the LAST MINUTE to accept the multi-state settlement for foreclosures before THIS BILL went through the house & senate like WILDFIRE.
HB213 will make Florida a non judicial state, denying Floridians their day in court to defend their homes AGAINST foreclosure.

So while other states are investigating & going after Foreclosure FRAUD, Florida is SPEEDING UP THE PROCESS.
And we NEVER see THIS in the NEWS down here at ALL.

WHY? Why are we being sold down the river with NO REPRESENTATION AT ALL, from the people, SOMEONE voted into office but not me. Certainly not the people who I know around me.

THIS IS CRIMINAL, it isn't the ONLY bill that is causing us grief, we cannot be HEARD for any of the important legislation because Mr. SCOTT is making it ILLEGAL & IMPOSSIBLE to be heard during hearings. The Florida Sunshine bill is now a FARCE. Experts are being turned away from testifying against privitization of our Prisons, our State Parks & we're being turned into a Privatized BUSINESS FOR PROFIT state, with no recourse & no one on the side of the PEOPLE,
They are now trying to REDUCE the minimum wage for restaurant workers AGAIN.

Please send us SOMEONE who can FIX this STATE before it is TOO LATE.

I have applied for a job withthe Obama campaigne to try to beat these people at their own game by staying labeled a Republican but believing & voting exactly the opposite when a candidate can help us.

I CANNOT & WILL NOT stand by while my adopted STATE is being TRASHED by the SUPREME IDIOT RUNNING IT, who thinks Mr. Perry of Texas is someone to be admired & adulated.

    • By the time the current elected GOP state legislatures are through there will be nothing left for the average American. Is Florida's Governor doing what Wisconsin Governor is doing with the settlement reached with the banks? Walker is taking their share of the money that was to be used to help people who have lost homes and is using to lower the State's debt which rose as a result of the big tax break he gave Corporations. No wonder there were so many GOP Attorney Generals that agree to this since they were working with the Obama Administration. I thought that maybe, just maybe they still had some heart. I guess I was wrong.

    • Since Ronald Regan ran for office, I have always voted republican. This idiocy is going to make me vote for a democrat the next time. This is criminal or at least give the banks, a "get out of jail free" card. I cannot see where this "legislation" is anything but bought and paid for politics. Scott and Blondie along with the republican controlled leaders can shove this...you know where. I will vote against anyone who supports this bill.

    • as a Fl resident with little means I find this very disturbing. While our news tells us to wash our hands before cooking, our appointed, not elected, government is making huge strides in making sure we all end up penniless and homeless as well. There have been empty homes rotting in my neighborhood for years and years and they want more? With families living in the woods close by I say occupy the empty homes before they are completely unlivable not add to the troubles we already have. Scott is a bad, bad man...his mother must be so proud.
