I'm not quite sure why this is not obvious to everyone; even with powerful forces trying to convince people to hate each other, such simple logic as this should be obviously true to everyone. If you (general) don't like gay marriage, then don't get gay married. Other people having same-sex marriages don't affect you at all. End of story.

Nearly all case law is concerned with the denial of rights. And it's so simple.....
We have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If you seek to deny me my pursuit of happiness I may seek to deny you your right to life, in which case one of us may well be denied the right to life and the other the right to liberty and we'll both be denied our right to happiness. So just don't go there.

(I only say "oversimplified" because some times things seem or are categorized as "hate", aren't hate at all.... I pick on the homosexual community sometimes, but I don't hate them, and I certainly don't want them to have any less rights than the heterosexual community.... I'm tired of the horror stories where homosexual couples were denied the same rights as heterosexuals actually.... I'm just not a fan of sodomy.....)

that is always why the anti-gay movement requires the religious ight.cuz they have the argument that cannot be passed which is "god says so".such an absurd point has no relevency and cannot be negotiated.
other wise it is just as simple as if a gay couple moves in next door to you, and fuck every night, what does it matter in your life?

This isn't what it appears to be, I don't think anyone thinks giving equal rights to everyone will take rights away from them. The whole argument is disingenuous at best. This is a simple wedge issue to keep people divided enough to not start looking for the puppet masters in charge of wholesale evil throughout the world.
