Tell Congress: Hands off of birth control

The right-wing has gone off the rails over Obama's decision to require insurance companies to cover birth control. Now Congress is getting in on the action. Speaker Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell both pledged to overturn insurance coverage of birth control. And they're not alone--more than 150 members of Congress have gone on record opposing the rule this week alone.

But pro-choice Democrats AND Republicans are weighing in with leaders in Congress urging them not to repeal the mandate. Let's get their backs and show Congress how many of us support birth control coverage. Please sign the petition today.

"Every woman has a right to affordable birth control. I strongly support Obama's decision to mandate insurance coverage of it and oppose any effort to overturn that decision."

    • Since 90% of women in the States have taken birth control at one time or another, it is time for women to stand up and be counted. Do you want men to tell you that you are not allowed to have affordable birth control? Are you a second class citizen? Speak up and sign the petition, your life is at stake.
