Gen. Dempsey denounced a strike on Iran in the near future as “destabilizing” and “not prudent” over the weekend while speaking to CNN in regards to America and Israel’s effort to prevent Tehran from developing a nuclear warhead. Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has now addressed that statement himself, calling into question the US official’s intentions.
Netanyahu is now suggesting that the US is adopting policies that will favor Iran, and not their historical ally: Israel.
Israeli newspaper Haaretz (“The Land”) is reporting that PM Netanyahu had harsh words for the JCOS commander, saying that his on-the-record comments over postponing any strike are remarks that “served the Iranians.”
“The Iranians see there’s controversy between the United States and Israel, and that the Americans object to a military act. That reduces the pressure on them,” a senior Israeli official adds to the paper.

People need to realize that we are not liberating people in the middle east we are defending the Petrodolar as the worlds reserve currency. That is why we went into Libya, why we hate Chavez, why we are going into Iran and Syria, and why we framed Dominique Strauss Khan because he suggested the removal of the petrodollar and soon after scandal!

He was also the only one in the financial stratosphere who took part in that documentary about what really happened during the financial crisis. I forget the name, but i watched him describe what he thinks caused that mess.

Mind games and lies on all sides. Father die in wars while the trolls in the corner rack in the gold/oil etc... and the children at home get eaten by trolls wearing mask who often spend time watching or "performing" on fox news because really that is all it is. Wanting for the final feast.

America didn't pull off 9/11. They just covered the investigation when nearly all of the clues of the attack didn't lead back to Arab terrorists, but to Israeli terrorists and their penetration within the US military and intelligence establishment.

uhuh, and no matter which tin foil hat theory one suffers from, it doesnt change that iran uses the event as a means to attack the united states, in a long line of attacks.
making weapons in their hands our problem.

and it wasnt japan who invaded europe, but that had nothing to do with the fact they hit pearl harbor.
but it was iran who threatened to close off the straight of hormuz, and has a habit of viewing every american as an enemy.
ya think bringing up what essentialy is a textbook case of friendly fire, used by crack pots to serve ther paranoia, makes a case for ya? - 3 months ago

Funny you ahold mention Japan and Pearl Harbor which was not unprovoked! Japan attacked us because we imposed sanctions on them just like we hav imposed on Iran. Sanctions are an act of war so, actually we are already at war with Iran just as we were with Japan although there was and is no official declaration.

so if sanctions in your mind are a viable reason for a nation to attack another, as you classify it as provocation, iran having nuclear weapons is most directly a problem it is in our best interest to adress.
unless you want a nuclear bomb updated version of pearl harbor.sanctions are not an act of war, but the means of the haves, telling the have nots their actions have crossed a line.the have nots can choose to change what they are doing, or simply be autonomous.
but hey lets drop the bullshit and not pretend shooting some one in the face is the same thing as with holding.lets not pretend that in the face of sanctions iran has done just fine getting what ever the fuck it wants, so much so they are building 9 nuclear facilities that sanctions would have prohibited existing.
also not gunna pretend iran doesnt have a soviet sugar daddy they we placate the absurdity of the saudis. - 3 months ago

Because he spoke openly about striking Iran? Sounds like he did what he's supposed to do as a loyal American:
Consider Americas interests first.
We don't need another war. This is on you Israel. Leave us out of it. If you feel Iran is a true threat, do what you feel you must, but don't try and get OUR children killed.

I don't think telling a small nation surrounded by hostile neighbors that it would be unwise to start a war with the largest country in the region.Sounds like common sense to me. We are still mired in Afghanistan, fresh from aiding civilians in Libya , are aiding some small African countries, and Iran is threatening to cut off oil to parts of Europe. Oh yes, an American journalist was just killed in Syria. Talk about a hotbed. Another conflict in the region at this time is senseless. We do not need another war. The general has loyalties to the United States first, as is his duty and ours as well. We are allies, not fools. American interests should trump any others.

I want people to realize that we will all suffer for the hubris of a few if this escalates. Did you hear that Russia and China are helping the Syrian regime with weapons and arms? Aren't they supposed to be part of the process to stop Iran's nuclear program or are they trying to prolong our stay in the Middle East? Makes me wonder.

Well, you make a good point. Of course I don't have an answer, but it does seem as though China and Russia are playing both sides of this conflict.
But no they are not supposed to be trying to stop Iran's nuclear program because these countries acknowledge Iran's right to produce nuclear technology.
I mean, techinically both countries are our allies, but yeah, their cover story is that they are arming Syria to protect their intrests in Iran.
