There is a good article in the current issue of 'The Progressive' entitled 'Sending Scott Walker Packing' by Ruth Conniff. It details the spreading corruption scandal of Walker's lieutenants and the fact that the petition drive is so far over the minimum requirements that it has succeeded on a grand scale. Also, in that issue, their are details about Walker's orders to arrest anyone taking pictures inside the state capitol. This guy must be getting desperate. I just hope the Democrats come up with a good candidate to take him on in the recall election because we all know the Koch Brothers will be spending a fortune to beat whoever it is. I have trust in the people of Wisconsin to do the right thing anyway. They would not have gotten this far if the determination wasn't there.

Russ is one of the very few independent minds out there who is not driven by party but by his conscience and integrity. He would make a great Governor for the state of WI and I'm hoping he's just keeping the Koch machine at bay for as long as he can before announcing his candidacy. They destroyed him in his mid-term election against asshole Tea Party whore Ron Johnson. They will try to do the same as soon as he throws his hat in the ring. I think he's our best winning hand, but it's a tough thing to put yourself squarley in the crosshairs of the Kochs. If anyone can beat them this time though, it would be Russ Feingold.

Russ Feingold would definitely make an interesting candidate. He makes some interesting points about Wisconsin’s historical ability to bring disparate elements together in the service of getting something done, which Walker is not doing. But that seems to be the trend everywhere in this country right now. That is why we have a House of Representatives that obstructs the whole Washington D.C. apparatus.
