Evangelical Christians Planning to Take Over US and Decapitate Unbelievers

I am dead serious about this and if you don't believe me, you need to watch a recent documentary that makes things very clear. Its called "The God Who Wasn't There".
But first I am going to paste the story here so you can read it and then I am going to give you my interpretation of this story, which is based in an entirely different perspective, one that is based in a humanist understanding of history.
The Parable of the Ten Minas
11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 12 He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.[a] ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’
15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’
17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’
18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’
19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’
20 “Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’
22 “His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’
24 “Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’
25 “‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’
26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. 27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’”
From the story you can see that the nobleman/king is bloody tyrant who justifies making money by expecting those that serve him to make him profits and interest. Who does this kind of nobleman/king sound like to you? I can point to one major player in the world that acts like this....WALLSTREET. This parable is a critique of capitalism it is not a story demonstrating the loving god and father that Jesus was trying to show people. This is a critique of the god that he came to destroy, the bloody king god that came before him, the biblegod of the old testament.
The Christian fanatics justify their unholy alliance with Washington DC and Wallstreet in order to accomplish the goal of their interpretation of this parable by taking over DC by supporting WALLSTREET in order to get control of the government so they can go on a bloody rampage (Jihad) throughout the United States and institute the rule of of their King and literally kill all the unbelievers to purge the country and make it a haven (heaven on earth) for the true believers. This is the real deal, the coming genocide here in the US under the Ayatollah like rule of Christian Fundamentalism. They are the ones who have been, through the GOP, waging war against women, war against gays, war against the middle class (why? because you have to depend on their king for your support), war against atheists, war against science, war against (insert enemy here)...According to the authors of the "Left Behind" series of novels, this is a necessary step in order to bring about the apocalypse and the end of the world so Jesus will come back and be their king.
The truth is that this parable describes the attitude of the 1% who rule over the world and want us to be their subjects under their kingdom and they have been brainwashing the fundamentalist to serve as their army of good christian soldier citizens to get rid of the rest of us who refuse to serve their WALLSTREET god who they mistakenly call Jesus.

The godmurders.com website put this King/God on trial and he lost. The link above is to his interpretation of this Luke 19:27 verse from the bible. I guarantee that if you love progressive values, when you read his writing on this verse, you will start to feel a sense of rage start to rise up and get strangled in your throat. As humanists and lovers of the potential of the human spirit to overcome the superstition of these fanatics. I suggest you take this warning seriously.

You are talking about Islam and I am talking about Christianity today, but the extreme kind of Christianity that is the equivalent of the extreme kind of Islam that you have been pointing to. Don't you realize that the extremes get more play than the moderates?
The extremes are the ones who have a greater influence because the media hypes them up more than the voices of reason. The media gives them their fame and they gravitate towards it like moth's to a flame.
Westboro Baptist Church is a good example, but you can also look at Jerry Fallwell, Pat Robertson and James Dobson....you can look at the series of books and films based on the theology promoted by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins who have made a killing off the sales of their book and are also the proponents of the video game where Christians get to practice killing unbelievers.
And you get to consider the "The Passion of the Christ" the biggest grossing movie about Jesus, that only focused on the so called murder of Jesus on the cross, and that movie which is over two hours long, only has 6 minutes in it that doesn't have a violent bloody gore filled scene. People who went to see that movie, that grossed over 400 million dollars world wide, voted with their money as to what kind of Jesus they preferred...a bloody Jesus. The whole Christian salvation rite is based on this bloody murder or sacrifice as they call it.
What kind of god of love that they supposedly serve is going to require such a bloody torture as was depicted in Mel Gibson's movie?

The killing is coming. You are getting hung up on the word "beheadings" which is the literal translation of the original word from the parable. The idea here is that Christians according to the interpretation of Luke 19:27 is that they will have to kill unbelievers in order to satisfy their king. The video game is a way to desensitize children to accept their role as "soldiers" for the coming Jihad. If you can't see that, how sad for you.

Islam and Christiandom are both Abrahamic religions, the one solitary group of religions that throughout history and into today despoil the essence of humanity, dignity and respect that we should all have for each other. Are Christians throwing acid in the face of women today? No. But what they are doing is pushing for societal norms that would not stand in the way of such behaviors. The current war on women's rights and on minorities in this country here and now is simply a stepping stone to control, and we do not need any more evidence of what happens in society when the Religion (not necessarily the religious) is given control. If Religion, specifically Christian Religion allowed to control this nation or any other we will be faced with the reality of stonings for disobedience of children, the imprisonment of rape victims for dishonoring thier family, the legitimization of slavery, forced incestual relations for widows, AND the killings of those who hold opposed oppinions. The history of religion is indeed just that, the history. But as long as Religions follow doctrine written millenia ago it is doubtless that if we forget our history we will indeed be doomed/blessed to repeat it.

There are 45000 denomination of this "entire" religion as you put it. There may be many sects that would abhor and condone the interpretation. I do not condemn or denounce them. I am speaking about a powerful group of Evangelical Right Wing Militant Christians who are very actively spreading the propaganda of supporting the GOP and Wall Street with the intention of accelerating the fulfillment of their interpretation of the bible. These are members of a larger organization that used to be called the Moral Marjority and now Christian United for Israel and C Street and a host of other names....Tea Party factions come to mind. They are being spoon fed a lot of propaganda, but the purpose of this article is to expose the underlying rationale, the justification for such a position. They are using a parable to and taking it literally as a commandment. These same extremists point fingers at others, such as Christopher Bell and his Critical Race Theory which also relies on stories (parables) to make its points and derive its truths. There is not much difference.
Before you and I can enter into a rationale debate about this, you will have to see the film and perhaps study up on the history of the "entire" religion that you are defending. Because what you are suggesting is that a religion that carries on the same beliefs and dogmas from the earlier mother and father that they sprung from, carry no blood guilt for what their creators did? Are you seriously suggesting that Christianity today doesn't have to take into consideration what was done in its name?
This below is from the gospel of Judas. It is Jesus talking about interpreting a dream that Judas had. He is telling them that many people will kill in his name thinking that they are doing god a favor.
“Those you have seen receiving the offerings at the altar—that is
who you are. That is the god you serve, and you are those twelve men you have seen. The cattle you have seen brought for sacrifice are the many people you lead astray [40] before that altar. […] will stand and make use of my name in this way, and generations of the pious will remain loyal to him. After hi another man will stand there from [the fornicators], and another [will] stand there from the slayers of children, and another from
those who sleep with men, and those who abstain, and the rest of the people of pollution
and lawlessness and error, and those who say, ‘We are like angels’; they are the stars that bring everything to its conclusion. For to the human generations it has been said, ‘Look, God has received your sacrifice from the hands of a priest’—that is, a minister of error. But it is the Lord, the Lord of the universe, who commands, ‘On the last day they will be put to shame.’” [41]This describes the kind of priests and servants, supposedly following Jesus, what they will be doing and justifying in this name.

As far as backing people into a corner. Why tolerate people who push this type of doctrine when we condemn people for being holocaust deniers or those claiming to have direct psychic contact with UFO's an aliens? Those people are marginalized and treated like tin foil hat brigades, but Extremists Christians who believe in the literal interpretation of the bible, including this parable that gives an order to kill the enemies of their King Jesus...that should be considered and treated in the same way as we would holocaust deniers and tin foil hat brigades.
This is why our country is so divided, because we give them too much room to operate and propagate this ideology and enter politics....that now we have people like Santorum, Gingrich, Bachman, Palin and more catering to these insane people as though what they believe is so very important. That is why I have taken up this crusade to expose this type of ideology.

I recommend this movie to all people of faith. Most christians are just ignorant of the roots of christianity. It's sad that some people really think that Obama is the Anti-Christ, even more sad if any one of you record yourself saying "Yes we can", and then play it backwards, it will undoubtedly sound like "Thank you Satan".....
Idk or care whether Obama is one of the many "Anti-Christ's", and i doubt he's the last. I know I can't morally agree with his decisions on many things, mostly having to do with continued wars, continuing policies that caused the most incarcerated nation on the planet, stripping away constitutional rights left & right, even if it's only in writing and HE'S not going to act on it.
I guess President Obama is an Anti-Christ of sorts, one of MANY, all the Bush family politicians fit the definition as well.
But if Obama is the final Anti-Christ, it will be the minions under his direct control doing the beheading, and I can't say even with all his bullshit, I actually see that coming to pass.
I certainly don't see the Amish sharpening their sickles.... I certainly don't see the Christians that spawned from the Jesus Freak segment of the "Hippie Movement" planning on beheading anyone in all their vegan splendor (though I'm sure Manson would find that amusing again.)....
Actual Christians are peaceful, pacifistic, they aren't worldly or greedy for worldly gain, they tend to be; communal, open, sharing, compassionate, understanding, forgiving, and understand that although they should discern what's right for them, their place isn't to stand in judgement and condemn people.
Although their are some "whack-jobs" that personally identify with Christianity, although they don't adhere to it, I really believe cooler heads will prevail, and their won't be some "Christian" assault on "unbelievers"....
Whoever would try such, to "Take Over US and Decapitate Unbelievers" wouldn't fit into anything but a cult, and probably working for one of, if not the, "Anti-Christ"....

Romans used to feed Christians to the lions. This does not mean that Christians are in danger of this today in Rome. It certainly would not prevent me from visiting there. The difference between the muslims and Christians regarding their literature, the muslims are still doing it.
I don't buy the assertion of this thread. This is not to say that individual people would not do this. There are psychos everywhere. The guy who killed George Tiller comes to mind. I just don't see an organized effort to accomplish this. - 1 year ago

We get it, you consider yourself to be a moderate or perhaps even a liberal christian. Good for you. Your missing the point because you are not a fanatic fundamentalist evangelical who believes that the world is going to end in their lifetime. Or do you? Are you ?

I think the gay people and children murdered in Uganda and all over the world should be considered here . Why murder children ? Because they are witches , according to the religious elders . Not children with treatable illnesses . I think Pagans are far more persecuted . Historically if you are female , christians are a danger to you as well . The only way to prove you were NOT a witch was by drowning . Then the church gets your property .

Christians are persecuted in other countries because they are audacious in their preaching and they don't respect cultural values of others they are attempting to proselytize.

There may be a good reason for that . Have you ever asked yourself WHY that might be ? What do they ALL do , in those countries , that might really annoy people ? Do you think there could be something ? 16 is a lot of countries against you .

I notice you do not denounce them . What you do not say can speak volumes . You have not said , "i as a christian m , denounce these barbaric acts against children , women and gay people . All people are deserving of kindness and respect , even if the do not believe ." People with real convictions will fight for them . Even against their own . It is rare that christians do this . I admire MKL because he did .

Its not a Catholic phenomenon, its a Evangelical American Christian phenomenon. You won't find many examples in Europe because of the enlightenment, but you will find lots of examples of extremist christian behaviors in Asia, Africa, South America and North America.

It is common for zealots to take the concept that someone does NOT believe them , hook line and sinker , unquestioningly , as an insult . Apparently it is a crime to be skeptical with some of them . You have TAKEN offense , because i THINK for myself AND i found your argument unconvincing .. Yet , i have not required you believe every word i type as well . I readily admit my mistakes even . Because i allow people to BE . I suppose you might feel that i shame you . If so , perhaps you might also ask WHY would i do that ? What good does it do me ? It does me no good to do so , at all . What does me good , is for me to THINK . Study and asses . There ARE a wide variety of christians . They are not stopping the tide of subjugation and ruin i see looming on the horizon . A new dark age will be upon us all IF no counter can be found . Just like ancient Rome .

I have read the bible many , many times . I was looking for something i could only find in myself . The value of the feminine , nurturing and acceptance of nature . I read the bible 12 times looking for it in the "good" Book . It wasn't there . I DID find that jesus was WAY more decent that many of his followers . So little of him is in that book . I DID find war without provocation . Angry entitled judgement and shame based fascist thinking . Have you ever read the book of Margaret ? She wrote only things Jesus actually said ... in his lifetime . Too bad that was NOT included in the bible .

#1 , The book of Margaret was found with the dead sea scrolls . It is a record of what Jesus actually said , when he said it . How could it possibly be anything like Jefferson's bible ? #2 Why do you think they keep the old testament around ?
