Queen Beatrix’s Brother-In-Law Calls For Mandatory Birth Control For The “Unfit”

In an episode of the television program Zembla that aired last week on Dutch national television, Pieter van Vollenhoven- queen Beatrix’s brother-in-law- called for forced birth control for people with drug addiction, psychiatric patients and other people deemed unfit to reproduce.

As head of the Dutch Safety Board, Van Vollenhoven investigated several cases in which children were abused at a young age. After concluding that “the government is not sufficiently capable of delivering on its responsibility to ensure the safety of young children in the age group 0 to 12 within the home”, Van Vollenhoven went on to propose a classical eugenic solution:

“People will accuse me of going too far. But to be honest, that’s an easy thing to say if you do not know the facts. My eyes have been opened by seeing these problems. They came as a shock. You can see that these parents need help, since they’ve no control over their own lives. When it’s clear that’s the case, perhaps contraception would be the best step.”

Radio Netherlands Worldwide reports that in his call for mandatory birth control for the “unfit”:

“Mr Van Vollenhoven has the support of experts from the Netherlands’ Child Protection Agency and the mental health care sector.”

Sure he does. We see many academics, including so-called ethicists, completely on board with the eugenic practice- which appears to make a come-back in recent days....

    • Totally agree.

Take the Rolls of registered Republic Syndicate Units and that would be the best place to start.

    • Vaccines are the best tool to control the growth of the population. Ask Bill Gates, he has a formula and it's this CO2 = PxSxExC and he said one of this needs to be reduced and you know which one is going to be ? P you are right , P = People, that's why he is helping the poor black people of Africa with vaccines, to depopulate that continent with the help of UNESCO. Isn't that wonderful .

PS( Check speech of Bill Gates on youtube population control )

Well I have to say, I saw the video, and I can only conclude that thinking that Bill Gates is sponsoring eugenics via vaccines is incorrect.

Eugenics is basically selective breeding. Vaccines are not a form of selected breeding. Bill Gates is very likely coming to the conclusion that vaccines, healthcare and reproductive health services will help reduce the growth of the population by helping people live longer, lowering child mortality rates, and by helping people avoid unwanted pregnancies.

Lets look at the poor black people of Africa. They have huge families over, especially compared to the families we tend to have in first world countries. Why might that be? Well, we use to tend to have huge families a few centuries ago BECAUSE FAMILY MEMBERS WOULD DIE OFF FROM THINGS LIKE ILLNESSES! One of the main purposes of having a large family was to insure that at least a few of your offspring would survive things like diseases and injuries. If a population of people is receiving decent healthcare and vaccines which prevent large portions of the younger population from dying off, then that population begins to not have so many children because the so called parents of that population no longer require so many children to insure that they are successful in continuing their family line.

    • Although I have real problems with this and would not endorse it, I do have a list. I see a lot of polybabydadia with resulting disasters. Many people should not propagate. No responsibility, reliance on the government rather than on themselves. The taxpayers wind up supporting the family. That is wrong and not the purpose of the government. It sounds good in theory, there is a lot of merit in a policy such as mandatory birth control for the "unfit" but.....there are so many things wrong with this I would say, "no way".

    • I've always held "radical" views on the subject of who can or should have children. it's always seemed to me that having children is the most awesome responsibility that the majority of people will ever have. It's always seemed to me that just because a person can physically, biologically have children doesn't be any stretch of the imagination mean they should then be automatically be "allowed" to so. A person should have to prove they are worthy and capable of such a immense responsibility.

Wow, Current has its own in-house eugenicist....

Under what pretext do we even get to the point where you are making judgment calls on who is "allowed" to reproduce?

On second thought, don't bother responding I don't think I want to know the answer to that.

Just be sure to lead by example and sterilize yourself first. Perhaps then we'll see the merits of the eugenicists' position. Seeing is believing and all that.

I suppose that would fit well with your world view, wouldn't it? Blacks are consistently low on the totem pole with eugenicists and when it came to eugenics programs they are among the first to be forcefully sterilized.

Just know this, in your quest to achieve your "perfect" Aryan race, there is always someone else higher on the totem pole that wants YOU culled. At the height of the Eugenics movement in America, even white skinned Irish and Italians were fair game for forced sterilization. Keep chopping, the axe won't magically stop swinging when it gets to your racial and socioeconomic status.

You're obviously highly mentally unbalanced. I am a progressive-liberal, have no problem with any race, color or nationality. Unlike you I'm sensible enough to know that people who are going to pass on genetic diseases, massive defects should NOT do so (and yes in a sane society, should not be allowed to do so just because they have functional organs to do so like any mindless animal), even if their mad, bible-thumping-snake-handler god says to do so.

It's more likely that someone who takes quarter with a late 19th-mid 20th century pseudo-science is obviously "highly mental unbalanced".

I don't know what rock you crawled out from underneath but eugenics was debunked half a century ago.

A truly "sane" and "sensible" progressive-liberal individual would know that a society's money, energy, and resources should be used to cure and treat those with genetic disorders, not cull them.
