I find it sad that someone who agrees with the viewpoints of any candidate is pilloried and insulted by others in these columns. The forthcoming election is simply going to be a contest between who can deride and sully their opponents more than the other. Free speech this may be but to a lot of people it obscures the real issues affecting ordinary people. All their concerns and worries are buried in a tide of negativity instead of presenting reasoned and rational discussion. I am well aware that this post is whisting in the wind and that nothing will change but if you can be proud of your country why is it that you find that youreself ashamed of the current level of political discussion wherever you look?

So... If I cant beat you in a factual argument I will resort to baseless memes and mindless attacks! I guess it makes sense and is the next best thing to actually being correct and informed!

I support Ron Paul, as an H.R.Rep.,. because he's the one person
with a comprehensive platform seeking to end the Prison Industrial
Complex, reign in the Corporatist Military Industrial Complex, end
the FRS & it's bogus Ponzi Scheme debt based currency. It's the
movement he's spawned in which all his supporters agree with this
platform that realy counts, not whether he's elected to the Oval Office
or not. For the first time in 100 years We the People ( at least those
possessing more grey matter than fits in a thimble ) finaly have taxation
WITH representation. It's precisely because so many people recognize
these essential problems need a redress of grievances that means
more advocates of his platform will follow in his footsteps. I've read
the libelous shit remarks of those who'll never have anything positive
or constructive to contribute. We tolerate that kind of negativity as
it's ignorant, and should be ignored as the noise pollution it realy is.
I support Sen. Rand Paul's online petitions supporting gun rights
not because I currently own firearms. In fact I don't. But simply as
I know right from wrong. I support any Constitutionalist candidate
for that same reason. Don't like it ? Well tough shit for you. I don't
express my opinions to gather popularity. I didn't do that in high
school, and I won't do it now. For those Ron Paul detractors who
never learned they can't discredit the message by attacking the
messenger, and are now gnashing their teeth. Here's a suggestion

First off, no one in their right mind is voting for Romney, even the other republicans have constantly been distancing themselves from him, Obama would walk all over him in an election, if those were the only choices, and that's EXACTLY why they want you to think, that Romney is the challenger....

Secondly, it's Current, not FoxNews.... You don't have to tell Current viewers Romney is shit for a candidate, your viewers know. If your shows ran on FoxNews and you were trying to rescue my senile grandpa from insanity I'd get it, but to just turn on your "Politically Direct" shows it's instant insult to all your viewers intelligence, and a serious distraction to fixate on Romney.

Ron Paul will hand it to them both, and the parts of the mainstream media that keep denying his popularity can just go ahead and count their credibility as non-existent.... The more shows fixate on Romney, the more people with functioning brains will turn them right back off, sad I kinda like Chenk....
