    • I simply do not understand the type of Neanderthal mind set that would purposely cut or defund anything to do with womans health issues. First of all, the affairs of women are not the business of men and second : don't these ass cracks have mothers, sisters, wives ,daughters, girl friends, lady aquaintenences,etc? Surely they can't all be celebate or pedophiles....or can they ? The WAR ON WOMEN simply blows my mind .

      Obviously I agree. I cannot understand why the political arena is even discussing women's health as a topic. Isn't job creation the most important of issues? Why is this country sliding backwards in time to discuss issues that were argued, discussed, voted on and tabled? It should be a non issue, but unfortunately it isn't. Sad.

      I personally think that there's a small but nasty and rich Fundamentalist TeaBagger group that seems to think that the "Good Old Days" were the best of times and we should regress to where women were relegated to the kitchen, bare-foot and pregnant, subject to a good old Saturday whuppin' and a good old Preachin' to on Sunday. So much time and rhetoric has been wasted on this "War" that I could scream. I learned about human rights in a jail in Mississippi when I was arrested for walking down the street with my black friend and later in Coachella Valley listening to Cesar Chavaz and La Raza. I figured progress would be made, but NOOOOO. Backwards we go.

      I was arrested in D.C. for the protests against Mumia being on death row and the election. I learned, just as you did real quick in a hurry how the mindset of the good ole' days so desired by the ignorant backwards thinkers of this country would put women back in the kitchen, barefoot and all African American's enslaved again. Pathetic. I know Rush and Mitt only wish they were born back in those days and try desperately to recreate it.
