Tonight, George Zimmerman — who is currently facing second degree murder charges for killing Trayvon Martin — participated in a highly unusual interview on Fox News with Sean Hannity.Hannity asked Zimmerman if he regretted getting out of his car to follow Trayvon, carrying a gun, or anything at all about the night he killed Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman said he regretted nothing because he believed “it was all God’s plan.” He also said there isn’t anything he would do differently in retrospect.
Earlier, Zimmerman did reiterate his apology to Martin’s family, which he first made during his first bail hearing. He added he would like an apology from Spike Lee and other critics, stating “if I did something wrong I would apologize.”
At the very end of the interview, Zimmerman goes back and to the question and says “I do wish there was something, anything I could have done that would have put me in the position where I didn’t have to take his life. And I do want to tell everyone…that I’m sorry that this happened.”

Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian break down George Zimmerman's (Trayvon Martin's alleged killer) exclusive interview by Sean Hannity on his Fox News show "Hannity". Was Sean Hannity leading George Zimmerman during the interview? Was this interview a good idea by the Zimmerman defense team, tell us what you think in the comment section below.

God's plan? It's these type of sick individuals which will maintain my absolute disdain for human beings on this planet. How can you call yourself HUMAN after murdering a child and then defending yourself by saying its God's plan? I'd like to put it down to Sick America only the real truth is that there are plenty of subhumans like this on this planet. Stop the planet I want to get off it - really! 'Human Beings' like that are simply sick beyond belief.

I am sorry to have to inform everyone of this but God doesn't have a plan. A divine plan would be an indication that everything is preordained and the freewill of humans is just a myth.
God, if he even exists, is just as surprised by what happens as the rest of us!

I see it as a clear indication of psychopathy.
In his mind, God is entirely on his side, to the exclusion of other insignificant humans. If George decides to kill someone, that's okey dokey with God, who at the same time decides that George's choice of victim needs to be snuffed out.

God's plan? That's the problem in America, too many people 'USE' God as an excuse for BAD THINGS. THOU SHALT NOT KILL!!! Enough said .... Don't blame God!
I can't believe Hannity gave him the platform to spin this kind of blather, while assaulting God and Christians in the process! That's just crazy talk, plain and simple. Maybe he's going to use the insanity defense?

They probably told him to say that. FOX News is almost surely the real culprit here.
This is the kind of shit the far right just eats right up. It's too convenient to be earnest in my opinion.
It's disgusting that they even aired this, pandering to the absolute worst portion of their viewer base.

God's plan ?! Really ?! His god is a projection , an imaginary friend that tells Him what he wants to hear . A projection that will make alright , in his mind murder ... or any other foul deed HE himself wishes to deal the world . If he was not so mentally segregated from Trayvon , that boy would NOT be dead , and he would not need to use "god" to justify ending a life that "god" created .

What ever happened to "thou shall not kill"? Zimmerman is disturbed beyond any words I have at the moment. Again, my heart goes out to Trayvon's family since the pain of the loss of their son will never go away.

There is something missing from Zimmerman. Being able to speak that calmly about murdering a kid is really disturbing. And then to claim it was 'God's will' that it played out like that. His mind is not well.
I think it has already been pointed out a million times already that he has a history of unstable behavior. The interview confirms that there is merit to those claims. There just isn't any hint of remorse beyond his words. He simply does not care.
Very troubling to say the least. He needs to be away from civilized society for very long, long time.

It was God's plan for him to kill Trayvon, funny, I thought it would have been God's plan for him to not kill anyone...
Here's an idea for Zimmerman, if he does get out of this and EVER does unofficial volunteer watch again, pack a taser instead. However, you have to live with the fact that most people who you tase will be able to actually defend themselves in a court of law if you use that taser to assault them instead of defending yourself.

What a despicable media whore that Sean Hannity is. I've done my best to avoid rushing to judgment and opining on this tragedy, but it is a genuinely contemptible notion that Fox would sink so low as to put this defendant (who still hasn't even gone to trial) in the national spotlight like this.

I think you are confusing psychotic with psychopath - a person who has killed someone during a psychotic episode is never cool, calm and collected and emotionless when talking about what they did (if they even remember what they did during a psychotic episode).
