Gun sales in Colorado have spiked by 41% in the past week, as the collective freak-out over a mythical life with no guns, perpetuated by the NRA and the gun manufacturers takes hold.http://veracitystew.com/?p=39781

Yep... Got a few more myself...
Alright, 2 more uppers for my AR...
An AK which is far better in muddy or dusty conditions... Hate to sacrifice accuracy, but I can't afford a custom AR that can handle all conditions...
Still waiting for my Deagle, apparently orders are high and that will take a while to get here...

The spike is due to fear. We used to be a brave country, now we are a fearful country.

Most reasonable people don't blame the second amendment, they blame the way it is currently interpreted.

I believe people are looking at Obama, seeing his record of sidestepping Congress and making his own rules + the support his administration has for the U.N. ATT and believe that if he is elected again he will administratively place restrictions on firearms. He has told Sarah Brady that he will have to work under the radar to enforce more gun control. He has indicated a willingness to be a lawless president. As a lame duck with no accountability, the Senate Republicans do not have the stones to hold him accountable and the Dems are on his side of lawlessness, I would bet he will run roughshod over the country in general and the Second Amendment in particular. The "he hasn't done it yet" mantra does not hold water. You don't let a rabid dog wander around just because he hasn't bitten anyone.

The more guns there are in the population, the more people think they need a gun or more guns to protect themselves from all the guns out there. Vicious circle. Emphasis on the vicious.

IF YOU live in America, you are four times more likely to be murdered than if you live in Britain, almost six times more likely than in Germany, and 13 times more likely than in Japan. These are simple facts on which all can agree; just as it is a simple fact that two-thirds of all murders in America involve guns, whereas in Britain the figure is under 10%. Beyond that, though, there is not a flicker of consensus in America about what to do about the grisly harvest that last year gathered in 9,000 lives.

Good grief, I know plenty of people out west here who went out and cleared the shelves of ammo after BO got elected because the wing nuts said he was going to ban all weapons and submit to the UN enforcing the rules. The end of our freedom and all that. When will they all have enough ammo?
Funny thing is, as they buy up the ammo and guns the shelves look empty and any idiot thinks this is due to regulation.
