Raise the swastica over his office. We are staring this in the face countrywide. The first thing that goes in a dictators rules is the media. I hope they sue him and the county so bad he has to turn his clouths over.
My dear old dad couldn't believe that I wasn't afraid of him. He told me that hardly anyone in Arizona will fuck with Joe Arpaio. Well that's why I left Arizona. I've never been dumb enough to keep my mouth shut around bullies.
Good for you Keith. There's only one way to deal with bullies; punch them square in the nose as hard as you can!
All bullies are cowards and deserve zero consideration. Furthermore, bullies in law enforcement deserve to be fired, publicly humiliated during prosecution and thrown into a very dark cell for life. Period.
I went to Dysart Junior high , Maryvale High school and Phoenix Community College before leaving for good. I lived on Luke AFB during early adolescence and later moved to Maryvale. I went back for a visit 5 years ago and it's not the same city that I grew up in. Phoenix is huge and Maryvale is a barrio now. My folks moved to North Glendale. Phoenix has a lot of crime and some of the Maricopa County residents believe that Arpiao is the answer but he's not. Phoenix has become an uneducated city. A lot of the people that live there now are uneducated and some of the others just don't care. They really believe that they can shoot their way out of anything.
ooooo......I cannot wait. I am sure this man will NOT make it to retirement. Eventually those drug cartels are gonna get sick and tired of this guy or he would treat I member of the cartel like a dog.....if there is justice in the world he we get his.
Ha! Well out there it's "no country for old men" so most anything's possible. I don't think the smugglers give a damn unless Joe's gotten into heavier stuff than we know about. To them it's just business. It's possible, though, that Mexico has expressed through diplomatic channels that either we reign him in or they will.
But Joe's pissed off every swinging sombrero on both sides of the border; and done it in a most self-righteous, brutal, demeaning and humilating way. I look for some loner to do the world a favor for the pure satisfaction and screw the consequences.
Knowing how rough a lot of businessmen in Phoenix play, and that Joe has come after many critics in the business community, I am amazed his car isn't in orbit. Cars have a tendency to just go BOOM in AZ.
It's been done, over and over. Maricopa County's insurance premimums have gone way up do to all the lawsuits people have won against Arpaio for years. But enough voters are more into hate than common sense.
What really got Joe in trouble was his bullying and harassment of businessmen in the community who dared be critical of his department. When they complained that real crime was not getting responded to because deputies were too busy picking on brown people, Joe set his thugs on the critic. Too bad for Joe that businessmen in Phoenix don't put up with that sort of punk stuff. He is lucky some of them haven't put a contract out on them. A lot of cars just seem to blow up in Arizona.
"The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday reinstated a federal civil rights and conspiracy lawsuit filed by Phoenix New Times owners Mike Lacey and Jim Larkin against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and a special prosecutor appointed by former County Attorney Andrew Thomas.
The claims in the lawsuit date to October 2007, when Lacey and Larkin were arrested in the middle of the night after publishing information in New Times about extensive subpoenas issued by special prosecutor Dennis Wilenchik.
In an opinion issued today, a three-judge panel denied absolute immunity to Arpaio and limited immunity for Wilenchik, saying there was probable cause that they violated the owners' civil rights by retaliating because of the story and committing false arrest.
Final arguments in that trial were made on August 16th; a judgement in the case could come at any time."
I guess they like it when their taxes go up to pay for all the lawsuits the county has to pay out.
Or like the rest of America, the county simply puts it on the credit card for the next generation to have to pay.
