Let's see, what have we here. Private prison corporation executives: check. Abusive husband: check. Witness tampering: check. Threats to use political clout to have abused spouse deported if she doesn't keep her mouth shut: check.

    • This is as queer as it gets. We have the intersection of class, gender, ethnicity all in one. Add to that the criminal element of corruption of justice and you have the makings of a movie.

    • if any of us had done such an act to a person we would be in prison for years to come. But if you own or run a prison system you get a small slap on the hand and thats all that happens to ya. Something just ain't right in that line of busisness.

    • What a sad story, I cannot believe Szeremi husband is not in prison.
      I'm afraid for Wierdsma next wife, and God forbid him having any children. It appears Szeremi mother-in-law was abused as well. Like father like son, only the son is worse. He probably saw years his mother being abused by his father, after being abused for many years she kept quiet, pretending it didn't happen, sitting in a chair knitting the pain away.

    • Thomas Wierdsma and his son should be in a jail cell with Joe Arpaio. I cannot believe both Wierdsma and his son are walking around free....I hope someone finds both of them in a dark alley and beats the hell out of them. Szeremi is probably not their first victim and will likely not be their last....oh the stories Thomas Wierdsma's wife could probably tell.....
