Banning corporate profits, what stupidity. Even C(3) corporations have to be run with a profit or they will cease to function.

Excessive corporate profits are an indicator of an economy that fails to function. All profits... well I guess that's another story.

Corporations are run, ultimately, by and for the benefit of, the stockholders and operated by the corporate officers. Who decides what is "excessive" and who has even the glimmer of a right or power to say what is excessive?

OUTLAW profitability? Command Economy? STALIN did that, and how MANY MILLIONS had to die? Extreme answers from extremists are for the consumption of fools. These issues are far more complex, and INTELLIGENT people have espoused various solutions that bear examination and implementation. Extremism of ANY sort is detrimental to the health and wealth of the PEOPLE. Shun this fool.

"Under the Republican Administration, as our country has prospered, so have its people. This is as it should be, for as President Eisenhower said: "Labor is the United States. The men and women, who with their minds, their hearts and hands, create the wealth that is shared in this country—they are America.""

This was not a random sample, these were DNC delegates, so they SHOULD be more intelligent.
I am sure you can find the same level of intelligence at the RNC.
I am so disgusted with the democratic party.

Typical of the party of lies, they'll buy-to-win, lie-to-win or outright cheat-to-win, but actual real policies that serve anyone but the corporates and the 1%ers, nah they got nuthin!

It is almost impossible to top the stupidity of Racist, but banning Corporate profits. I mean if you are a worker how are you going to get paid if the people who are paying you are not allowed to make any money?

Banning corporate profits is a dumb idea. Its called communism. The Democratic party represents those on the left of the political spectrum, that would also include any communists that choose not to involve themselves with the communist party. If this is how they indeed feel about corporations, let'em think that way, it won't happen.

Walmart makes $419 billion in sales, but the workers in reg towns make the $7 to $8 range. Thats $6.80+ after taxes. The poor is the middle classes foundation.
The middle class does not work for the middle class. What would Walmart be like with no workers. Get a grip why drive the workers to the point they get their car REPO to get more money in their fam. All to make these people make more money.
Who gives them the right to decide how they should take care of their fam! - 8 months ago

Not Banning, paying their fair share. Walmarts $419 billion devide the 7 billion people that are on earth. How much is that from Walmart alone, not to say Arvest bank, land holders, etc from Walmart fam! And all the time pay the workers $6.80+ after taxes!
Just be fair. Those days are over, greedy!

You aren’t too sharp are you? They didn’t make $419 billion in profits, that’s sales (regardless your number is wrong it’s $460 billion over the last 12 months). On those sales they made $16 billion. Still a lot, but not nearly the same amount. On those numbers they are operating at a 3.5% profit margin. You raise salaries even a small amount either their prices have to rise (bad for the consumer) or they go bankrupt. Also, Wal-Mart isn’t some abstract concept owned by shadowy figures hiding on top of a mountain somewhere. It is owned by literally millions of people. If you have a 401k or a mutual fund (I’m guessing you don’t) you probably own some yourself. You make the point of “where would Wal-Mart be without workers” as a reason for why they deserve more, because Wal-Mart needs them. In stating that you fail to grasp that the very reason people are willing to work for $6.80 is that they need Wal-Mart more than Wal-Mart needs them. If I risk my own hard-earned money on a venture, of which many fail, who are you to tell me that you are entitled to a certain amount of money, for taking no risks, if someone else is willing to do it for less? It’s my company, my property. Using the word greedy implies you wouldn’t do the exact same thing as a business owner. I would imagine your lack of income is less a function of taking the moral route and more a function of incompetence.
