Wouldn’t it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America? Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you may think.Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others.
Needless to say, Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States. So who owns Clear Channel?
Well, it turns out that Bain Capital is one of the primary owners of Clear Channel. Yes, you read that correctly. The company that Mitt Romney ran for so long is one of the “big bosses” over virtually all conservative talk radio in America.
Of course Mitt Romney is not running Bain Capital anymore. He is a “retired partner”, but he still has a huge financial stake in Bain Capital. We’re talking about millions upon millions of dollars. If you doubt this, just check out page 34 of this public financial disclosure report. So if you have been wondering why so many conservative talk show hosts are being so incredibly kind to Mitt Romney, this just might be the answer.
In the media world, there is a clear understanding that you simply do not bite the hand that feeds you. Some of the most prominent conservative talk radio hosts are earning tens of millions of dollars a year.
If you were making tens of millions of dollars a year, wouldn’t you be very careful to avoid offending your boss?
The deal in which Bain Capital became one of the owners of Clear Channel was initiated just a short time before Mitt Romney’s first run for president. The following comes from Wikipedia….
On November 16, 2006, Clear Channel announced plans to go private, being bought out by two private-equity firms, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital Partners for $18.7 billion, which is just under a 10 percent premium above its closing price of $35.36 a share on November 16 (the deal values Clear Channel at $37.60 per share).
The deal was finalized in 2008. Today, Bain Capital is still one of the primary owners of Clear Channel.
One of the subsidiaries of Clear Channel is Premiere Radio Networks.
Premiere Radio Networks distributes a whole host of conservative talk radio shows. Everyone in the conservative world knows names such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. Clear Channel also controls some other conservative talk radio hosts (such as Michael Savage and Mark Levin) that are not part of the Premiere Radio family.

104.9 KMJM St. Louis, Mo is a Clear Channel station.
I stopped listening to this station, when all I heard were negative commercials about President Obama, Herman Cain is narrating his faux paws. I have not heard any commercials from the Left only the Right. With that said, I will not be indoctrinated stopped listening to this station.
Any commercials that I normally would have heard on this station I could have possibility and would have been a potential consumer.

Clear Channel sucks! Not only for their conservative radio shows but their music sucks! they only promote certain artists and try to control everything and that is why their ratings suck. I refuse to listen to a Clear Channel station.

Is it any wonder we don't hear a lot about Mitt Romney's dog riding along on the top of his car, requiring the car to be hosed off, because it scared the poop out of his dog? Is it any wonder we don't hear about the guy Mitt Romney held down and forcibly cut his hair? Is it any wonder we aren't hearing the 'negatives'? Negatives matter!
If we don't hear the negatives, does it make them any less negative? No, it just distorts the character of the person seeking the highest office in the free world. These shenanigans are too important to ignore. Negatives matter!
Trust is earned!

This is one of my biggest dilemmas in life. I try to avoid Bain Capital companies but the radio station I listen to is a Clear Channel company.
Orlando's Real Radio (104.1 WTKS) is the only station I listen to. It is talk radio but not conservative or even political. It is entertainment talk that touches on every topic. When politics does come up most of the on air personalities are liberal.
The Monsters in the Morning, the Buckethead Show, The Philip's Phile and SBK Live can all be heard ever weekday on iHeart Radio, I commend it to you all. Through the years I have become pretty good friends with several of the people and can be heard from time to time on some of the shows.

There aren't many stations which aren't owned by Clear Channel. So other than the money being spent by Romney on commercials, he get's the spin he wants, as they call the media liberal. S T R A T E G E R Y 'Playground' politics, "I'm rubber, you're glue, everything you say, bounces off me and sticks to you". How sad is that.
Doing away with honesty in news has hurt America! We now can't trust what they say, even if they tell us we can. Up is not down, black is not white, wrong is not right, even if they say it is. Unfortunately, people are too busy to fact check and find out for themselves, they are being mislead with purpose.
This election is too important to be ignored. The last time a Republican was in the White House we were headed over the cliff when they left. They were able to walk off into the sunset with no accountability, or shame for the wrongs during their administration. The 'liberal' media spun, it's wrong to blame 'anything' on George W. and Dick Cheney. How convenient, for the Republicans. Thank God they own our 'liberal' media.

One would think Current would be making some noise about Clear Channel and Bain's association. The majority of people in America don't know Bain owns Clear Channel, thereby making Mitt Romney's company a major player in American media. Something smells rotten about a media company being owned by a wealthy politician.
Some may say Romney has nothing to do with Bain? But, he's running on Bain Capital being the feather in his cap. Was owning the our media part of the plan? Our airwaves were sold to the highest bidder and it was them.
Is it any wonder we now have a media, which blatantly distort what they report? We no longer trust media. What will happen if they get their foot into the door of the White House? If you thought the 'have's and have more's' as George W's base was bad, this will make you shudder. These guys put George W.'s base to shame. What will they do to us?
This is the most important Presidential Election of my lifetime and I'm 57 years old. If we don't STAND-UP, we may not be able to get up! It's time to SCREAM! HELP PRESIDENT OBAMA BEAT MITT ROMNEY, CLEAR CHANNEL AND BAIN CAPITAL. These corporations ARE NOT people too. We don't need a violent revolution. We need an election revolution before it's too late!
IT'S TIME TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also want to see a plan to check the credibility of the electronic voting machines. I would like to see a movement to 'double check the election'. I would like to see 10-20 counties in every state recounted. (double checked) Counties which aren't announced until the totals are in. 'We the People' need to verify a fair election! Trust but verify!!!!!!!!!
If someone would start raising money to pay for the recounts, I would donate today! People really want to know their votes are being counted fairly. Two out of the last three Presidential Elections in America have been questionable. We were told to 'get over it'. I don't want to move along and just get over it. I would like to be pro-active. We are better than this!!!!!

The dots have connected Clear Channel to the intimidating billboards in minority neighborhoods, that implies that voting Democratic could lead to a felony.

IMHO, it explains the 'nothing to see here, move along' mentality of American media. They pick and choose what does and does not get heard. How sad is that.
Our airwaves were sold to the highest bidder and now we are at the mercy of political shenanigans now called news.
