Of course they do.
No doubt a lot of non-US citizens (self included – in fact I was polled) would be devastated if Romney won.
BTW: just because someone points out that the RedSox and the Giants are playing the same game does not mean they think the teams are identical or equal in talent.

The debate was a farce. Two candidates purporting to "argue" about a shared political outlook. Basically, they were just debating strategies for the same goal: further military interventions and wars of aggression (Syria, Iran, Mali) and how to curb the increasing economic and political strength of China and Russia.

Don't forget Latin America. Romney was almost salivating talking about it. The Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement which is NAFTA on steroids is also supported by them both. A bad deal all around for Latin America and the world.

Interesting that Mitt Romney insisted on (repeatedly) bringing up Mali -- flexing his foreign policy muscles there? Was he trying to show that he understands the geostrategic importance of Mali as a country on the boundaries between between economically significant, resource-rich countries in Northern and Western Africa? Or was he trying to play down his own financial interests in China by mentioning a country China has invested in so heavily in recent years?

There was also a military coup there in March of this year and Al Qaida is supposedly now in control of the Northern Tuareg half. A good excuse to continue the "war on terror." BTW, France is now offering to "help" Mali with "surveillance" drones... see the progression.

A simple observation: If Mitt Romney even comes close to the presidency, this country is finished. I fully expect the trollbait to show up with their reaganisms and false equivalencies; and in doing so, they will validate either their absolute ignorance or total disregard for the well being of the United States and her people. Enough of this shit; Romney is remarkably unfit for the presidency. There is no valid argument to be made otherwise.

"If Mitt Romney even comes close to the presidency..."
He IS close to the presidency. That's the nature of the two-party system. And this particular debate showed little difference between the candidates in terms of (US imperialist) foreign policy. - 7 months ago

It is 10:11 PM EST: I've actually called a friend to ensure that I wasn't having a senior moment in hearing Willard repeat, almost word for word, what POTUS is saying or has been saying...Romney is totally bankrupt morally and intellectually: he is a snake oil salesman and an opportunistic hedge fund manager...

This particular debate did illustrate more clearly than the others just how little difference there is between the two main parties --- US hegemony, control of resources (edit: of course they didn't spell that one out), etc.
They seemed to agree on basically everything in that respect. - 7 months ago

Romney and Obama agree on drones... UNCONSCIENABLE.
Showing the debate with inclusion.
"We have to stand for democracy"... In egypt... what about calling for that in our own country when it comes to debates? When it comes to peaceful protesters not being imprisoned for protesting drones killing innocent people? Both of them sound like imperialist warmongers who think the US runs the world and space to militarize it.
Shame Rocky Anderson and Jill Stein are being shut out. They are making sense regarding how we bring about peace and this government standing up for the rule of law.
Mentioning indefinite detention... right of assasination...military/industrial complex... we need to finally stand up to these wars... a foreign policy based on human rights and climate justice.
Both Jill Stein and Rocky Anderson mentioning the climate crisis and trade agreements continuing to hurt American workers.
OK- now we get to the line: Obama: we will stand with Israel if they are attacked. I'm sure Romney will concur. Threatening talk about Iran as well. SOS. "All options on the table."
Oh my, Rocky Anderson and Jill Stein make so much sense. Americans are fools for voting out of fear.
Jill Stein: "We have a slave like" mentality towards Israel. "We need to hold them acountable as well to international law."
Where's the question on global warming? Jill Stein mentioned its connection with war and the military.

From Think Progress:
Five facts to keep in mind during the debate. Think Progress will be live fact checking.
1. New reporting finds that protest against anti-Islam video played role in Benghazi attacks.
2. Romney harshly criticized Obama’s pledge to send U.S. troops into Pakistan to get Osama bin Laden.
3. Iran is not enriching weapons-grade uranium.
4. Romney will increase military spending by $2.1 trillion, with no plan to pay for it.
5. Israeli leaders have praised Obama’s commitment to Israel’s security.

And understandably so. Yet too few Americans are outraged at the terrible, almost casual, loss of innocent civilian lives on a daily basis in so many countries where the US and its allies seek to gain control.
