If Elected, I will not Accept nor Acknowledge a Mormon Bishop as President of the United States!
http://www.this-page-intentionally-left-blank.org/
For obvious reasons electing any Bishop from any church or religion would be a huge mistake for this country and the fact that Mitt is a Ordained Bishop of one of the wackiest Religions ever made up recently just reinforces my belief that is a rabbit hole nobody should go down. We are talking a "Bishop" not a paster, minister or someone just barely a LDS Member, this is someone who is a really high mucky muck of the Mormon Church. Back when JFK was running for President he went out of his way to let the country know he would not take orders from the Vatican as President because he was after-all a Catholic. The country was upset that someone who claimed to be Catholic would become President, not a Bishop or the Pope but just a regular Catholic member of the Church. The Mainstream Media is either too busy raking in the Billions of campaign dollars to even mention this fact that Romney is a Bishop in the highest form of a Religion or they are complicit in the heist of the Presidency for the ultimate Right Wing leadership this country has ever known. I will not stand for the merging of a religious leader and Government in my Country! The Mormon Prophesy of the "White Horse" should scare the pants off anyone paying attention to this race, and why for the life of me the attention of this mans deep religious connections a few million votes from being elected doesn't alarm you really baffles me. I know the election won't be close you tell me, but it's close enough for evil to steal it. If this twist actually happens this election, I will be trotting out a pledge for anyone interested in signing it in regards to not acknowledging a Romney Presidency. Our founding fathers are getting ready to roll over in their graves, good luck America, don't be fooled.P.S.

An example: Why not have the minimum wage at $25 an hour? Leftist logic declares that raising the minimum wage helps everyone, right? Just take it to its logical outcome. Have you considered this? If it is in the GOVERNMENT sector, the GOVERNMENT does not have to be concerned with failing, going bust, getting monies, or making a profit. So think OUTSIDE of government.
And there are so many commonsensical reasons. A plethora.......

"Your information is false"
It is incontrovertible.
"I don't care how many false and fictitious concepts you can present"
How can a concept be "false?"
"they are systematically wrong"
They are systematically correct. Thus the concept.
Another concept: A person has a restaurant. There are a couple of people doing some very simple jobs to make the place look a bit nicer, like going out to the parking lot and constantly clearing any brush, etc.
The restaurant owner is just making ends meet in a tough economy.
Suddenly, he finds out that a Left-winger Congress has increased the minimum wage by, say $2 an hour. Now, his two minimum-wage employees who work, say, 35 hours a week, are going to cost him an extra $70 a week each, or $140 a week. Multiply by 50 weeks: $7,000 a year, plus the other costs, like social security, etc.
Possible solutions:
1. Reduce his personal profit by $7,000
2. Lower the salaries of others.
3. Fire one of them.Which do you think he will choose? Which would YOU choose? Are you willing to answer this? Or will you just insult and say I am wrong as usual?
Want another CONCEPT presented in a real-life situation? I got plenty!

This article is ridiculous. The mormon church is literally called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints". They worship Christ, saying mormons aren't christian is like saying Zen Buddhist aren't Buddhists. What's the point? Are there differences? Sure just like every other Christian religion they interpret the Bible with their own slant. And just like every other Christian religion out there, they believe they are the only true word of God. Which makes them just like the rest. It's like a bunch of people in a mud pit wrestling over who's cleanest. It makes no sense to differentiate them from other Christian churches. They all have the same issues.

TatianaC:
Tatiana, me thinks you know a lot less then you think about these things. Paganism, freemasonry, and satanism have nothing to do with one another. Freemasonry isn't a religion. Their symbols are Egyptian in origin and spawn from Judeo and Egyptian mysticism. Paganism is a very broad term used for the European religions and folklore that existed prior to Christianity. And Satanism is a rather new religion based on ego-centrism. So...back to the question...the LDS church uses Freemasonry symbols because Joseph Smith was a Mason and he ripped them off and gave them completely different meanings. Joseph Smith plagiarized a lot. He had very few original ideas. Still the LDS church has no connection nor really any resemblance to Free Masonry, which isn't even a religion. The LDS church denounces both Paganism and Satanism, and like you the LDS church really doesn't know the difference between Paganism and Satanism since they inherited the Catholic/Protestant view of the old religions. In other words they hold the same views towards these religions that every other Christian church does. That and they bear no commonality with the pagan religions that they hate, at least none that they didn't inherit from the Lutheran church that Joseph started in (such as celebrating Christmas). Coincidentally...I now practice paganism and Taoism. I'd challenge you to find one thing you hate about religion that also involves these two practices. Most every atrocity ever committed in the name of religion was done due to Christianity, Islam, or Judaism. If these religions were eradicated, what would be left would bring peace to the world. Many atheists are quick to criticize but few understand or have studied even a tenth of the worlds religions. It's sad, you'd think atheists would be more cautious of ignorance.

Satanism, was founded in 1966 and for the most part wasn't a religion before that. Throughout the years there have been many, and I mean many, accusations of satanism but they hold no commonality, short of a long historical precedence of mistaking paganism for satanism, which is again...objectively false. So, any symbols that Satanism has, were created or stolen from other religions and redefined in 1966, over a hundred years after the LDS church was created. Do you see what I'm saying? There's common symbolism across many religions, but to understand where they came from you need a concept of chronology. You can't say Mormons adopted Satanic symbols when there was no such religion as Satanism at that time. Now again, Paganism would have been mistaken for satanism at the time the LDS church was founded, so maybe you mean that the LDS church has Pagan symbolism...which considering how pervasive Pagan symbolism is, would actually accurate. It's accurate of every Christian religion though. Even the cross is an ancient Pagan symbol of war.

Um...look I can't stand the Mormon church. I'm an ex Mormon, and there's plenty about the church and about Mitt that is worth criticizing but let's at least bother being accurate here. A bishop is not very high in the Mormon church Hierarchy. It's about as high up on the food chain as a Walmart store department manager is in the Global Corp Walmart structure. You know those Mormon churches you pass every day? The ones with the big pointy steeples? Each one of those churches has maybe 3 or 4 Bishops that run services there. They are in charge of what is called a "Ward", which is basically a congregation, and again each one of those churches has 3 or 4 of them. Mitt isn't a Bishop anymore. Bishops are called and then released from their positions often within a matter of a few years. People called into bishop positions don't get much training and the calling isn't even considered a full time job. Lets spend our time criticizing Mitt for being a complete tool. Or the church for it's historical atrocities and continual lies and cover ups. But let's bother to fact check, otherwise the rest of our criticisms will carry little weight.

Great post, Kenny. Here's what really freaked me out during the last presidential debate. Early in the debate, Romney spoke of the Muslim world in a totally patronizing manner.
First it was about how he felt Muslims had to be educated to repudiate the radical terrorist faction of their fath. Then it was a comment about how he'd organize the Syrian opposition parties, whereas Obama spoke of *helping* them organize - big difference.
That's when I realized, Romney as president would be terribly destructive in foreign affairs. He'd soon be hated throughout the world, even more than W was. And the reason is his religious indoctrination. He has been trained since childhood to regard other religions as inferior and their practitioners as lost children needing his magical advice to become fully human.
This is the colonial, patriarchal attitude he would bring to his dealings with other countries, especially countries with large Islamic populations. He would soon undo all the good Obama has done for the U.S. reputation in the world, and would undoubtedly drag the U.S. into yet another war. He's not just stupid - he's very dangerous.
