Hurricane Sandy has thrown the issue of climate change back to the forefront of the political stage, to the chagrin of Christian fundamentalists (read: much of the Republican Party) who believe the earth is only 6,000 years old and God controls the weather. Oddly, most rational people accept that humans are affecting the climate, yet when one runs for office as a Republican, one suddenly becomes unsure of what is causing climate change.http://veracitystew.com/?p=45393
