There was much I was dissatisfied with during his first term (there is no such thing as clean coal Mr. President, stop peddling that lie), but I felt that we needed to hold the line, at least through this term. At least with Obama, we have some leverage through some of our elected officials, such as Elizabeth Warren. There is much work to be done, but at least we now have a punchers chance of getting it done.

I think you are right. Romney's bedrock beliefs are nowhere near the attitudes and beliefs you (PARATUS) express in your post which I have copied below. His main character flaw (ROMNEY) is that his ambition compelled him to embrace the Dark Side of The Force, which in my opinion, is efficiently encapsulated in your post. At least, Romney made a gracious and redemptive exit.
