It's interesting that they have to point out with their first bullet that it's the "GREATEST PROSPERITY IN HISTORY WITHOUT WAR."

The way things have changed it must have been prosperity for the wrong people "WITHOUT WAR."

Prosperity for the wrong people with unions.

Prosperity for the wrong people with "job security" and "opportunity."

Prosperity for the wrong people with regulated "best working conditions in history."

Prosperity for the wrong people with an "expanded social security."

Prosperity for the wrong people with "high take home pay."

Prosperity for the wrong people with "equal pay for equal work."

Prosperity for the wrong people if the "rights of labor unions, management, individual workers and the public" are protected.

Prosperity for the wrong people with high marginal tax rates on the rich.

You know, this a very good illustration of who and what the G.O.P. stood for in the 50s and 60s. They were for the things the poster champions because they were a party that represented all Americans.

They are against all the things the poster champions today because they are now a party that represents a small group of people who get no benefit from these policies. In fact these policies of labor and individual rights are at odds with the greed of the people the Republican party now represents. The small %. Small in numbers, small in compassion, small in patriotism, small in honesty.

We can easily recognize that the Republican party at one time championed all the things this poster espouses because they were representing the American worker and the American people as a whole.

They are now a party dead set against all the things they were all for when they represented Americans as a whole.

So who do they represent now?

This poster is great. Where were the democrats on the issue of labor during this period? Was Ayn Rand's book and pundits like Wlliam F. Buckley Jr. responsible for the GOP's turning away from labor and becoming the Archie Bunker party given the civil rights advancements of the country? There was sort of a flip-flop in beliefs and policies from the late !950's to the late 60's and it has progressed farther right to where we are now.

Grover Norquist was born in 1956, a lobbyist who now owns much of the GOP. Grover is just one example of how the GOP has lost its way.

Wow even the usual trolls did not respond yet. I thought this would really set them off.
