The Swiss have the lowest firearm homicide/suicide rate and there's still folks over there lobbying for more gun regulations, citing the terrible youth suicide rate as a reason... So why are the youth in Switzerland commiting suicide ?

In a perfect world the idea of making guns harder to get would be wonderful . Right now the only people we would be making it hard for is the ones with legal intent. I don't comment on this topic most of the time because of back lash. Does it matter if someone has more paperwork or a longer waiting period if you want a gun for legal purposes , not really. Your right to own a gun should not be taken away period. I do believe that there are some guns that the average person just has no reason to own (not even in self defense) but I also know that making guns illegal is a very slippery slope. Just like I don't personaly believe in abortion but I am always pro choice so that others don't have to suffer my mind set (that was just an example of my thought process).

I agree with you, I have many guns but their are some that I will not buy not due to cost but I have no use for the caliber. In a rifle if I can't hunt with it I don't want it.
