"According to an annual study conducted by the moving company United
Van Lines, the top ten states that Americans are fleeing from continue
to be those states that do not have Right-to-Work laws."

    • Directly from the article: [“While big states such as California, Texas and Florida have more total moves than other states because of their sheer size, other high inbound states such as Washington, D.C., Oregon and the Carolinas may be attractive places to move because of their lower housing costs, more temperate climate, diversified and growing economies, as well as maturing manufacturing bases and high technology clusters.”] This doesn't say a thing about right to work! It addresses growing economies vs waning economies and good weather...

      These are conclusions which you, a Corporate Right activist, draw. The percentages were compiled by 24/7 Wall St. -hardly an objective organization-. With Wall Street stealing, lieing and defrauding as they do, I would never accept anything they publish as truth. The United Van Lines which was your original reference issued nothing similar to your assertions. You've proven you're a propagandist for the Corporate Right over and over, I would have to look deeply into anything you post before I would accept it as possibly true. I don't believe "right to work" has anything AT ALL to do with the migration statistics you're referencing.

      I do not think that the moving company wrote it for political reasons, of course. But the data about the 5 states that people left were there! All with discrimination and anti-freedom for workers. If we omit DC (being built up because of LEFT-WINGER government jobs, waste and expansion), 4 of the 5 states to which people GO are work freedom states.

      How can this be denied? It cannot.

      When some decry and demean "left-wingers," who are simply People advocating for People, and having some of the People's money actually spent on the People, instead of all of it being spent on corporate welfare and those who feed on those corporations, who are growing steadily fatter on the People's money, I resign myself to the fact that the Mishimas are either hired corporate hands, or amygdala dominate individuals who are incapable of recognizing higher truths, higher thinking and extensive reasoning and logic. I'm sorry for you. You MAY mean well, and are simply standing in your own way to truth. But I wish you comfort in whatever you can believe in, but I must resist it to the extent that it helps corporations steal from me and America, and their attempt to destroy democracy.

      { "left-wingers," who are simply People advocating for People, and having some of the People's money actually spent on the People}

      I simply do not accept the foundation for that basis which necessitates - or advocates for - a redistribution of wealth from the central authority. It contrives excuses for the confiscation of others' property, all in the name of "the people." We have heard this rallying cry before, and patriotic Americans and others who believe in liberty have summarily rejected it, of course.

      It is not some kind of "higher truth." The higher truth is in a knowledge of human nature, and the childishness of the Elysian dreams what bring only poverty, misery, tyranny, starvation, oppression and death.

      Of course, you are paid not to accept "higher truths." Thank you for mentioning "redistribution of wealth." Your sponsors, the Corporate Right, have engineered the most immense transfer of public wealth into the hands of a select few, in history! It's out there big and loud Mish. 99% of public wealth has been transferred into the pockets of select corporations and those who feed off of them, like you. Theft and fraud by the housing and mortgage bubble was just an example of such theft of public money. I rest my case, because any more would still fall on ears paid to be deaf, if yours weren't already deaf. BTW, you might as well move on from this post, because no one is reading it except you and I. Your employers will get more for their money if you move on to another post. Just saying...

      Really? "in history?"

      Well, well, well. I suggest turning off MSNBC and READING a bit of history. Try, for starters, a prize-winning book written by a Liberal scholar, "The Age of Reform." Heck, according to the venerable Richard Hofstadter (reported in the 1950s which makes it all the more trustworthy), the wealth distribution was about the same! Left-wingers are only doing what they always have done: Look for an opportunity to advance Socialism.

      More r.w. propaganda blah, blah, blah. There has not been a novel or positive idea for the improvement of society, democracy, security,...from the right in more than a century. The figures and sums of public monies which have been defrauded and secreted by Corporate Right legislators into the pockets of corporations and their stockholders dwarf all monies spent in all prior pro public "Reforms." The double digit trillions spent on Bush's, make the oil and war profiteering industries more rich wars, alone dwarfs any prior pro public reform. Every dollar spent by the Pentagon on Middle East intelligence and military actions over the past few decades has cost the public $10.00 in greater danger and insecurity. It's the cycle of creating more need for the monster from every dollar it feeds on, is a fraud and scam on America and is bankrupting the U.S. Do you stop and think at all before you blast out typing?
