How many other winners may have been using as well? Their is a mental state to be a winner that not everyone is able to access. For instance, try to regrow a brain without pain killers but a shit load of pain that decides to move around daily.

So he is like the American Government. At least he was a bike rider not a killer. How did he hurt you? He is not perfect but who is. This is not news. News will be when the rest of "Cheater and Liars" just stop. Don't hold your breath we are a really long way from that day. I think more than anything you and I can be honest. Sometimes the best way to deal in life is to keep your month shut. Peace.

"Oprah Winfrey said today that disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong came well prepared for their highly anticipated interview, although he "did not come clean in the manner [she] expected."
Winfrey, who discussed the interview on "CBS This Morning" today, said, "We were mesmerized and riveted by some of his answers. I feel that he answered the questions in a way that he was ready. ... He certainly had prepared himself for this moment. ... He brought it. He really did."*
In an interview with Oprah, Lance Armstrong is said to have admitted to doping, undoing years of staunch, angry denial. What does he have to gain from this? Will he try to get back into the professional cycling world? Will he point fingers? Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian look for answers.

Funny but Armstrong was the most tested athlete in history and never tested positive. Believe me, the French, who hate anyone who wins the Tour who is not French, tried to find reasons to ban him. Oh well. I still think the was the greatest.

A lot of cyclists never tested positive -- (Ivan Basso, Alejandro Valverde and Michael Rasmussen come to mind), but were banned from cycling for doping because they were linked to doping via other means.
These guys had developed ways to beat the tests.

EVERYONE IS DOPING, even the police.
Joe Rogan had on the guy who was sent to prison for supplying millions of dollars of STDs to athletes and he talked about how there are clinics set up for athletes to use STDs and still pass drug tests.
just to put it in perspective the first person to not fail the drug test in the race Lance Armstrong was is in was in 26th place, so everyone above 26th place failed the drug test, thats why no one was awarded the prize after it was taken away from Lance. - 4 months ago

Which is why they vacated the seven titles.
"Hey, everyone else was doing it," doesn't make it OK, though.

Like he is the only one. He is still a bad ass and in my opinion still a strong winner. It is not like anyone could keep up with him even doing the same drugs, like they weren't!

He was still living a lie the last 13 years though, IMO. Every time he got up in front of a TV and said, "Hey, I never failed a drug test (wink)," he was living a lie.

It's the basic hypocrisy of "Professional sports", biggest joke of our sad, sick excuse for a "culture". The amounts of money and attention these "Professional sports" figures and their shows get... Absolutely insane. In a country and a world with the issues we have, so much money and attention for nothing at all, a bunch of adults playing kids games. It says a lot, I'm reminded of ancient Rome and the celebrity status of their gladiators.

If you look across this country most people are using weather legal or not. What is being given to depressed children is causing schizophrenia. Pot is very smiler to sugar except sugar in large amounts causes crazy. Pot at best can make you think to much. I am waiting for humans to have a rational conversation but I am not holding my breath. I take it the world wants him to say "he's so very sorry!"

Your right and he has lied. He was still drug tested as are the other competitors. New drugs require new tests. I Wonder if there are drugs that cause a person to lie?

Armstrong never cheated and lied to the vast quantities of drugs he used. He always kept them close at hand and regularly joined them at activities. Armstrong even took them for long bike rides.

It's possible Lance "confessed" to try to save Livestrong and its reputation, which legitimately does a lot of good work.
