    • Is This TREASON ?

What any group of hereditary despots fears most is an informed, united and armed populace, who want to maintain their national democratic sovereignty, personal freedoms, and to prosper and share the same wealth of opportunities the few and mighty have inherited. The Elite want to protect their Hegemony , their monopolies, entitlements and political influence. In a world class of their own, they want freedom from inheritance taxes, and low capital gains taxes. They want their power over government legislation to continue to remove regulation from them and instead add regulations and mandates against the people, so they may profit further from the contracts derived from the new laws.

The dire warnings of President Eisenhower on the future of liberty in a civilization ruled by the collusion of the Military- Industrial- Energy Government-Media –-Police has evolved out of the Bilderberg conference in 1954 and grown into the “New World Order”. This reality of geo-politics is arguably and without bias based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a fictional account of a plot by world Jewry to conquer the world. This blueprint for a global Fascist totalitarian dictatorship, has been “ inspired” and adopted by the powers of the world as a perfect model for their own desires to accomplish the same ends, Global Hegemony. This “ One World Power “ struggle is nearing the final stages of implementation in 2012. America is under siege from within the State houses and Congress, in league with the global corporate aristocracy.

Dare authority to call this treason, how dare they, who bond us, and betray the cause of liberty to call themselves benevolent representatives of the people.

The NDAA now allows the Homeland security to arrest and hold incommunicado any American citizen without charges indefinitely without a trial.

"Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty—power is ever stealing from the many to the few…. The hand entrusted with power becomes … the necessary enemy of the people. Only by continual oversight can the democrat in office be prevented from hardening into a despot: only by unintermitted Agitation can a people be kept sufficiently awake to principle not to let liberty be smothered in material prosperity."
-- Wendell Phillips, speech in Boston, Massachusetts, January 28, 1852

Cornell West can't explain anything about Obama, he doesn't even know him, and has never tried. He and Travis Smalley are very jealous men, and haven't done one great thing in their lives. Obama didn't get there alone the voters helped put him there. These two didn’t run for office. They didn’t fight for votes. They just sit on their butts and whine and moan about how the world isn’t the way they want it to be. If they are so fired up, DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN WHINE LIKE PETULANT CHILDREN. Just the complaining and whining they do makes me wonder how they got to be “so relevant”. He doesn't speak for Martin Luther King.

    • Waxing poetic about climate change in an inauguration speech sounds great, but actions speak louder than words. He has already approved the Southern leg of the Keystone pipeline. If he was really committed and not playing politics that wouldn't have happened and he wouldn't have delayed the approval of the Northern leg until after the election. And what of the other tarsands pipelines already open in the US that have already had leaks? What of the tarsands mine in Utah coming up that no one talks about? What of off shore drilling? The Arctic? He has a long way to go to prove he really cares about this, especially regarding the Bakken oil shale and the fact that under his watch we have seen the most oil production of any president that does not even balance what has been done regarding renewable energy. How much money in donations will it take? Because obviously that is the only way to get your agenda noticed in Washington DC. Let's hope in 2013 we get more than flighty speeches.

    • Well, the most divisive president in my memory, who refers to Republicans as the enemy, said that Mitt Romney was a felon, said that millions of people were "bitter" as they clung to their God, guns and religion called for an end to the partisan divide. An end to partisanship, in the liberal world and certainly in Barrys world means to do everything his way.
He gave a good campaign speech while managing not to talk about the most important problems this country has.
I just can't believe this country was so obtuse as to re-elect this person, with his failed economic policies and politics of hatred and divisiveness, when we had a chance to elect a very decent person with a lot more ability to do the job. I don't think we will be able to fix the damage this man will do to this country, at least in my lifetime.
Congratulations to the Obamas and their supporters.

    • Wondered a few times during the goings-on today "what's Mitt thinking right now." Bet his social-climber wife was in a rotten, huffy mood - probably refused to make his sandwiches.

I see the right-wingers managed to get another "Leftist" removed! Yet another good poster gone, while the right-wing-trolls remain UN-touched, and UN-touchable.

Agreed, he didn't, and some of it wasn't his fault, IMO. Think he listened only to the advisers who told him what THEY wanted to believe, instead of the reality of what he should know. Generally surprising in that he is a relatively intelligent man, but stuff happens, unfortunately. I'm sure he'll be just fine.

Backed up by Ted Nugent playing his guitar with one hand and firing his AR 15 in the air with the other, prompting the drooling crowd to fire theirs in unison. Fortunately for the country, that bullet was dodged.

    • It was most fitting for President Obama to be inaugurated on Martin Luther King's Holiday. King fought and died so that this great occasion could be realized.

Just because congress if full of scumbags doesn't make Obama's scumbagedness any less offensive. Keep eating up his lip service though because if you don't the republicans may win next year and, GASP... extend all of Obama's policies. Obama is a moderate Republican at best.

The Kings of today are Multi-National Corporations, Politicians, Globalist Financial Dynasties, Wall Street Criminals, Lobbyists and their funded “think tanks” and foundations which manufacture false public opinion, and engineer the fabric of society to achieve their own political and economic objectives, without regard for the best interests of civilization.
It is time for citizens to pay attention to the details of everyday legislative activities and to voice their vehement opposition. The cost of silence to freedom is tyranny.
Remember the German people turned a blind eye to the actions of the Nazis, out of fear and indifference, and look what blind faith enabled them to accomplish. We face a situation not unlike that of Germany in the 1930’s. These same military-industrial Aristocracies have invaded the American political system and undertaken in their own right, in collusion with Our American Congress, for their own benefit as individuals, using their power to legislate industry and control the media, have so aligned their agendas to deceive , divide and conquer their greatest enemies, The free will of the citizens of America.
FACT: The wealth of America is controlled by 1/10th of 1% of the Global Corporate Aristocracy, the multi-national corporations that do not pay taxes, this includes individuals such as Mitt Romney and Warren Buffet, The Heirs to Wal Mart, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, The Koch Dynasty , Rupert Murdoch, Exxon Mobil, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, Boeing, The British, Saudi, and American Royal families, etc.

Is This TREASON ? uh , yes.

    • Great speech. I was so happy to hear how progressive the speech was. To highlight climate change and immigration as priorities for the next four years was very heartening.

    • Obama: “We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths - that all of us are created equal - is the star that guides us still; just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls, and Selma, and Stonewall; just as it guided all those men and women, sung and unsung, who left footprints along this great Mall, to hear a preacher say that we cannot walk alone; to hear a King proclaim that our individual freedom is inextricably bound to the freedom of every soul on Earth.”
