Checkpoints (some would say illegal checkpoints) have been popping up quite frequently in the USA. Many are established 50 miles or even 100 miles inside the United States, yet are termed “border” checkpoints. As you see in this video, you DO NOT have to comply with their question’s or demands. Don’t forget, you have rights.

Wow! I would never have guessed you could actually be allowed to be on your way... by simply and politely reiterating your rights to border agents.
I wonder how many people who stand their ground like these folks end up getting yanked forcibly from their cars (when agents know they aren't being recorded on video that is.

So. Simple. These are every u.s. citizen's magic phrases. It's always amusing and sad to watch the back and forth "am I being detained?" "Is there a reason for me to detain you?" game and it can go on for daaaaaays with these agents.
