Click through for this week's staff's top tip on how to get your stories noticed, all the stories from this week that you really can't afford to miss, as well all the juicy details of when to watch your favourite shows on Current TV.

*** TIP OF THE WEEK ***
Stories not getting much traction? Want more people to see your stuff? Topic Tags could be your new best friend!

Adding as many relevant topic tags as you can will help your item get the maximum exposure possible. And with more people seeing it, it hopefully means more people will be commenting and voting on it, and we all know what that means - a better chance of your item making it onto Current: News!

It's best to start with one of our main topic channels first:
* News and Politics
* Entertainment
* Tech
* Sex and Love
* Earth and Science
* Art and Style
* Sports

Then narrow it down, think about topics that are associated with it, include names of people involved in the stories, the country where the article comes from if it's an international story and even some descriptive tags that you think are suitable. If it's a wacky item, give it some 'WTF' and 'Crazy' tags. If it's a research study, let us know what the study was on as well as the fact it's a research study. All the tags you add will only help in getting your items seen.

*** ONE WEEK, LOADS OF GREAT STORIES ***

      Nice picks of the week. I've always wondered if human breast milk would be a viable alternative to cow juice...

      I just received my second Current swag and I love it! However, my "lateral thinking journalistic deerstalker" is too big for my small head :(
      Can you suggest any alternative applications?
