"Tonight Show" lays off 120 staffers

They left with an early Christmas bonus check, and no guarantee they would be back when the strike was over, just a "If your services are needed, we will contact you.”

That blows. Well at least they got the bonuses.

    • If the corporations are going to end up losing
      the strike anyway; they've already made a big enough effort to show their stockholders they
      aren't pushovers. They should settle with the
      Guild and get the laughs and shows going again.

    • why should jay have to compensate anyone. this has nothing to do with him.

      conan is a wga member....( I don't think Jay is? )

      It makes way more sense for the wealthiest wga strikers to help out the strike victims...who probably won't gain anything when its over except for a heavier workload and more office space to expand their cubicles...like jay
