War over 'Star Wars' series ends

The new 'Star Wars' cartoon 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' will air on the Cartoon Network, after a fierce battle (er, Clone War?) among several networks. Thirty episodes are already in the can, and more are in production. A feature-length animated Star Wars movie is also in the works. No official word on when the Star Wars cartoon will start airing, but it's expected to make it's debut in the fall. Just to refresh your memory on how cool Star Wars can be animated, peep the late 70's Star Wars cartoon above, complete with baby Wookie.
