Based on the cover alone one gets the idea that women are ALWAYS thinking about nothing else but pink things, cooking, and raising cute ticklish babies! And the best part is, it won't cost you a penny, meaning you can save for those divine shoes that you just have to have or you'll die!!! OMG!!!
Blech. Any women gamers out there care to toss in their two cents on Nintendo's newest venture?

I thought we past sterotypes of the 1920's. Girls who like games are strong and isn't so much into depending on the same crap our past females had to take. That girl on the cover looks like she came from a bubbly place which do not reflect on the now females of American society. We build things as well as take care of children and we like blood and gore too as well as flowers but that cover do not seem to understand that.

Ir's nice that they have thought of us for once being a gamer... But pink is not my favorite color nor I would want to learn how to cook on Nintendo DS. I know how to cook and the last thing I want to do while trying to amuse myself would be learning to cook, I would rather ask my mom for recipes.
For this reason I have the "Gameinformer" to keep up with what's new and what's coming out soon. I like the same games most of the guys like; COD4, Counterstrike, N4SC and more.
Why can't we have a magazine like the guys have? Why do they have to single us out by making it seem like we can't play any tough games?
Anyways nice thought!
