    • Bah. I beat my man's ass at Halo, Call of Duty and pretty much anything else we play. (You heard me, Mike!) We really liked playing Super Paper Mario together. He actually bought me my DS and Nintendogs (though I virtually euthanized them after the novelty wore off!)
I see a lot of chicks who come over refuse to play video games and I don't know why- maybe they feel like it's a "guy" thing, maybe they don't want to be bad at it, maybe they don't think it's feminine of them?

One must totally balance gaming with RL.

I know some people that literally play for 30-50 hours per week... wow they have no lives at all! Very unhealthy, but they do have awesome characters in the game. (not a good trade-off if you ask me, but some would differ)

I probably play 4-10 hours a week, but I'm not too competitive. I happen to play well with others. My aussie friends rock, and they don't care that I'm not a "power gamer".

I spend so much more time here on current playing the "news game" than doing anything else except artwork, sleeping and hanging with the boyfriend.

    • When my x-husband began spending 8-12 hours at a time on the computer... playing on line games, and I will say this started a long time ago...
I realized one thing... play or don't he is still going to do it.

What did I do? I got an account and started having a ball. I found I enjoyed it, am actually good at it...

I game on an Aussie server because I have an odd schedule. I have had a blast. it has it's place for cheap entertainment, fun and a social aspect.
