    • I think people are doing fine assessing the information - the thing is Norm, if we accept that kind of attitude from the stranger, that girl would be stuck doing "little girl things" her whole life. Not going to happen.

    • I know I piss a lot of people off, but when you get older your brain can assess what stranger 2315 said as well as what Denica_Cassandra said--you both are right, now let's move on.

      I love the middle of all opinions, because when analyzing the extremes no one wants to live there. Now this third party thing, the party where you roll your eyes a little and laugh a little more...Let's get going!

      And that's the way it is...Speaking of scoring points, advise please on this as an unrelated matter. Channel hopping this weekend on the ol' TV lead me to believe the Obama campaign was about to drop 5 million in West Virginia prior to the election. If there is anything which makes my blood boil, it is how money is wasted in the weeks prior to the election. Who is going to change their vote now which would require millions in television adds to convince?

      Why are they so paranoid? Here's what they should do--call in the media and give millions to multiple West Virginia School Boards who desperately need new furnaces, new gymnasiums, new schools---what is the matter with these fools? The "three to one" monetary advantage the dems had from the "get go" should start doing something productive besides fueling the already purchased television networks...

      Who am I supposed to vote for? Paranoid Dems or Poor Republicans--both sells outs to power mongering rather than helping those now they supposedly will help later.

      This election has been pathetic on both sides as usual.

    • The femenist movement has been a strong catalyst for change. NOW has always led the way. If more organizations would put list out of the candidates that support their causes it would encourage more people to vote. I am sure that the little girl in the photo has a beautiful smile and it looks as if she is doing a very important little girl thing.

    • It's so interesting how people see the same thing , and have such a different opinion or reaction. In the photo, I see a beautiful child who is determined, engaged and well aware of her own strength - and letting everybody know it - I'd say that's a pretty good thing for a little girl to be doing!

      She's also learning about her first amendment rights. All good patriots should teach their children this. Who knows, we could end up with a generation that is tolerant and respectful of each other and each others points of view.

    • ...some people see a rose bush......and notice only the thorns...something along their path made them that way....I wish that more people would follow the Golden Rule....and if they do not have something positive to say...then say nothing....and also give all parts of creation respect...especially women...even stranger2315 would not be here without them....Golden Ruler...Johnnie Hargrave
