Drama on Best's life to be screened

BBC Two plan to air a factual drama about the life and career of footballer George Best. Best will be aired in the spring and will focus on how alcoholism destroyed Best's life.

Tom Payne will play Best.

    • I really hope they do this well, he's one of, if not the, greatest football players ever to play in the UK. The latter half of his life was marred by tabloid sleaze, if they delve behind that, i think this could not only be epic, but open a lot of peoples eyes to the man behind the myth.
