The Killers, Elton John and the Pet Shop Boys Create Christmas Classic for Red(Wire)

poolparty_com
To help celebrate the launch on World AIDS Day (December 1) of the charity-focused digital music magazine RED(WIRE), a number of the music world's biggest names will be contributing their artistic talents to benefit HIV+ Africans in need, including U2, Coldplay and Bob Dylan.

Sir Elton John, The Killers and the Pet Shop Boys have created quite a buzz with the Christmas jingle, "Joseph, Better You Than Me," which (RED)WIRE founder Don MacKinnon describes as a power ballad. [Source]

The Killer's last Christmas single, "Don't Shoot Me, Santa," definitely bears seeing again before the release date, however. Truly an instant classic.
