Disney politely asked all the actors to walk the plank earlier this week. The official word from the mouse house for the characters sudden upheaval is simple and sweet "Jack Sparrow recently set sail for other high-seas adventures."
Awww. When you put it like that a layoff seems so magical!

One of my best friends is a Disneyworld addict, and one of her favorite parts of the park are the costumed characters. You'd never pinch Tigger on the butt, would you? I didn't think so. Pin a tale on Eeyore? Of course not. Try to rub Aladdin's lamp? Maybe.

How much would you like to bet that the women who were doing these things were probably not completely in their right mind, and I daresay may not have been the most attractive.
Think about it. You spend your whole day getting chased around by a bunch of kids waving pens and swords screaming at you while you try to emulate Johnny Depp, only to have one of their grandmothers come roaring after you, flapping free in the wind like the ears of a Luck Dragon.
Doubt you'd feel clean picking up a paycheck.
