I have no problem with Playboy itself, I have a problem though with an old man who switches young women like he changes underwear.

It makes me dissapointed in humanity when women can be stupid/slutty enough to willingly go for that.

I have to confess that I did like the topic heading "Whores in the News." That made me chuckle.

As for the rest of the posts, I don't think that Hef has ruined anyone's life or hurt anybody at all. Also, there is this little thing called freedom of the press, and that applies to "Playboy," too. By the way, Gahan Wilson of "Playboy" is one of the best cartoonists ever!

Years ago, I knew a guy who was friends of a couple who met at the Playboy Mansion. Her only employment qualifications were hanging out at the mansion and taking off her clothes in Hef's magazine. Had she stayed in her hometown, she probably would have been dating a local grease monkey.

Instead, she met this man at a party at Hef's pad. She was beautiful; the guy totally fell for her. They got married, and they had two children. He treated them all like gold.

Did I mention that he was worth millions ... and millions ... and millions? The last I heard, this woman, whose life had undoubtedly had been ruined by Hef, was having to deal with managing multiple homes, picking out private schools for the children and undergoing the stress of deciding which European or Caribbean locale the family would vacation in.

I am quite sure that she wishes every day that she had never set foot in the Playboy Mansion and that somebody would come along and rescue her from her oppressed existence.

A beautiful woman WITH discretion is rarer than fine rubies.
She might be nice on the outside but beware of whats on the inside.
Hefner will answer for the lives and families he has damaged with his dreadful pulp vulgarities.

I worked for a summer at a paper recycling outfit almost 20 years ago and what I saw there was disgusting and infuriating - people like himself should be in prison.

Not everyone would do anything for it....but many will. While I can not condone his continual pursuit of girls a fraction of his age it must be that part of the attraction is the lack of a challenge. A woman closer to his age might be far more capable of giving him a REAL run for his money. Not all good things come with youth........

I have always actually thought that a foot in the mansion was practically the slide to success....worst case scenario a few rungs up the ladder. At that point in my life I was still not aware that so many might look down on such an endeavor.

That said.....he is not the type of man who ever could have been my 'boyfriend'. It would be my observation that he lacks morals.
