This is a masterwork for the artist. In using a perishable such as the orange, the work begs you to see it both in space and time. Great stuff. Keep the work coming.

Banging around with a Tin Can soul, grazing on seed like a bird, and lying in the wet grass. O.K. none of this is true. However my Nouvelle Video, is on the page, take a look @ Surrealism in action:

Edgy and hi-production I don't know. I shot this at home with a point and shoot camera, and my fiend sophie made the music on Sony Acid. I shot the video in my yard. As for the subject matter that's me, no joke. Thanks for your criticism, and I look forward to taking a look at your new piece. Regards- Dave

I don't get it. Is this a joke?
The video is all edgy and hi-production, but the subject matter is...
let's just say I don't expect the two to go together.

Definitely a departure from the standard fair; which is almost always a good thing - as it it in this case.

Thank You for sharing your ecstacy behind Navel Orange. Wonderful piece.
"Pieces of metal were fitting together that had no reason to fit together." Ah yes...the ecstacy of creation...the pride and joy the creator must feel when creating such splendor out of "nothing."
The orange emerging from the chest..the "fruition" of the heart's efforts; bearing and offering it's fruit of contentment.
Ofcourse I loved the not so subtle reference to the L train...taking you from brooklyn to manhattan...but more...taking you into the Love and beautiful heart of David Isakson. - 2 years ago

I gotta tell you that I used a new CODEC to clean up this video. Flash video, yes so fresh, and so clean... So if you haven't seen it yet, now is the time!
Double plus good.

like the sculpture, suggest a little less talking, let the sculpture 'speak' for itself

With open eyes, with ears to hear the sound, with a mouth to talk, and a mouse and keboard to drive it all the way home. Take a look at creation,
David Isakson and Can of Meat Film invite you to take a fresh glimpse.

Quirky art from Found Objects, given new meaning. I really like this. The vacuum head speaks to me- it's vacuous. It doesnt suck. Really cool!

I jacked into the piece and fixed the audio. Thanks for the feedback. I hope this makes the piece more accesible. Piece out.
