Celebrity Big Brother limps back onto TV

The first episode of the last series of Celebrity Big Brother aired on Channel 4 this night, with no sign of the rumoured MC Hammer, Gazza (yet) or Pamela Anderson.

Instead you'll be able to tune in and watch the following people for the next four weeks:

Vinnie Jones, who the News Of The World claims is being paid £350,000.

Cage-fighting, cross-dressing Jordan-dating Alex Reid. Fee - £175,000 according to NOTW.

Alec Baldwin's younger brother Stephen Baldwin who, in appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, much have a fantastic sense of humour. Fee - £150,000 according to NOTW.

Actress Stephanie Beacham. Fee - £100,000 (NOTW)

Ronnie Wood’s ex Ekaterina Ivanova. Fee - £75,000 (NOTW)

Basshunter - Fee - £75,000 (NOTW)

Ex-Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss (who incidentally seemed to be on good terms with Stephen Baldwin). Fee - £75,000 (NOTW)

Sisqo, who sang and wriggled his way through a version of his hit 'Thong Song' before entering the house.

Page 3 girl Nicola T. Fee - £50,000 (NOTW)

Lady Sovereign. Fee - £35,000. (NOTW)

The fat one from Another Level. Fee - £35,000 (NOTW)

Paul Gascoigne is rumoured to be making an appearance at a later stage in the show. The Sun reports Big Brother's got a psychiatrist on 24-hour standby to keep a nervous eye on Gazza specifically throughout his stay.

    • Why on earth is Sisqo in there? A one hit wonder in the Uk and he had to perform that before he went in so that people would remember who he was!

    • Yeah there's nobody I'm too interested in watching. Vinnie Jones seems like he'll just be pretty two dimensional and boring to watch. I interviewed him once and if he's not growling and being Menacing Vinnie, he's wearing tweed and being English Gent Hollywood Vinnie. He's a real life Guy Ritchie character, and good for him for doing so well in life, but I'm not really a fan of Guy Ritchie films bar Lock Stock.

      Heidi Fleiss might be interesting, so long as she spills some beans. If she doesn't, she might have Jackie Stallone weird appeal but that'll probably be boring after a while.

      Sisqo seemed quite amiable and The Chubby One From Another Level has got car crash appeal.

      The real clincher will be if they get Gazza in there and he does a Les Dennis. Then the whole show will be about the other celebs baffled reactions to this strange weeping, shouting man who most of them haven't ever heard of.

      Something I think the show does well is getting lots of celebrities in there who haven't really heard of each other. I think people like seeing celebrities taken aback by people not knowing who they are and it's always fun hearing them try to explain exactly what they do when they're in the famous for being famous category.

      I'd have liked to see Danny Dyer in there. The man's amazing to watch.

    • Well done Channel 4. You've managed to beat ITV's I'm a Celebrity to the award of having the most amount of nobodies in one show. The only two that are actual celebrities are Vinnie Jones & Basshunter, the rest are nobodies who want to be in the limelight for fuck all.
