Sounds like Record Store Day was a success, with some of the singles now appearing on eBay for high prices. I'm guessing that with the news of the vinyl profits, more people will be pouring into record shops, hoping to buy any left over limited editions.
In addition, would getting downloads of the new single by blur take a while because creating copies from vinyl would be more difficult?
"Limited edition copies of Blur's first new single in seven years are selling for up to £200 on internet auction site eBay.
Just 1,000 copies of Fool's Day were released on 7" vinyl to mark Record Store Day last weekend. "-BBC
