    • I sincerely hope Steven Spielberg portrays the man 100% of all
that is known of his personality, expressions, attitudes as reflected
in his quotes, and his ideas & movements. That may seem like a
tall order. But with someone as professional, experienced and
successful as he, it's a challenge worthy of an iconoclast like him.

Many people might find it ironic, even paradoxical how, as President,
Abraham Lincoln could have reportedly denied the writ of habeas
corpus to people suspected of being Confederate spies..Have
tolerated the policy of rich people paying $300 in Gold to the Union
Government to buy their son's lives back from forced conscription...
Even tolerated the central Banksters, who eventualy had him Murdered..

And still wrote a letter to the German firm Hohner telling them how much
he enjoyed sitting on his porch rocker, smoking Cannabis, and playing
his mouth harp. On East Washington St. here on Syracuse, New York
around where I live, the New York Historical society shows a photo taken
of him in 1860 that is nothing less than striking in its presence. His words
as he passed through Syracuse on his way to Washington to give his
inaugural address go something like: " I hope that the institutions which
have served us for so long to guarantee our lives, liberty and prosperity
will continue to evolve with us to maintain us " Something like that. The
next time we Abolitionists saw him was on his funeral train passing through.
Something to think about when we underestimate the evil still vexing us
all the way from before his time to now. Slavery is still very much with us.
