Coronation Street is set to get rebuild as the UK's longest soap is set to move to a larger set.
The soap will be moving from the famous Granada studios to MediaCityUK in Salford, Manchester where the BBC are also moving into. Once it gets planning permission, the set will be rebuilt to a larger scale for the demand of HD TV. The current set has been used since 1982.
