Chloe Sevigny to play Lizzie Borden for HBO

Chloe Sevigny will appear on HBO beyond this week's "Big Love" series finale, which airs this Sunday night. The actress is set to play Lizzie Borden in a miniseries she is developing alongside Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, whose Playtone studio produces the polygamist drama.

"Lizzie Borden" will tell the story of the infamous Massachusetts spinster who was acquitted of murdering her father and stepmother with a hatchet in 1892, but was publicly condemned.
