Beyoncé has finally paid another woman to have her baby given birth! The proud mom, along with husband Jay-Z, welcomed a baby girl into the world on Saturday night at New York’s Lenox Hill hospital.
According to the NY Daily News, Beyoncé checked into the hospital under the alias Ingrid Jackson, and allegedly rented out the entire fourth floor for the delivery. The cost? A cool $1.3 million. That, and all of the lives lost of those who needed medical attention and couldn’t get treatment because an entire floor of the hospital was shut down on a Saturday night, but who’s keeping track?
After a brief period of confusion regarding the baby’s name, Gwyneth Paltrow (the self-proclaimed expert on all things) confirmed that the child’s name is Blue Ivy Carter, which, coincidentally, is the name of my cousin’s private school (classy touch, B).
Here’s hoping that baby Blue inherited mommy’s looks and daddy’s… personality. Congrats to the happy couple!
