It's the story about Hamraz, a deaf Persian girl, whose profound wish is to have her overworked-dressmaker-mom make her a pink dress in time for the new-year. Hamraz believes the wish that she painted on her Norwuz egg will come true--but her sisters wish is sacrificed to make Hamraz's wish happen.
