Joe Gets Bent

binowhite
Bikram yoga is an exhaustive physical and mental workout designed to keep people in shape. Joe, obviously, has never done it before.

    • I'll hve to agree with petamni - it's a bit like a Daily Show audition tape, cut with Chelsea Handler. Red light!
Also, I used to be a hard-core bikram boy, and I completely forgot about how red one's face gets when still adjusting to the heat! Cut the guy some slack, people!

    • So missing the point-entertaining-but robbing people of the great things achieved by yoga. Do you want to help people or hurt them. Seriously, you have no clue. Good luck.

    • I have practiced yoga for 35 of my 55 years of age, in hopes of correcting a persistent erectile dysfunction. After viewing this video I gave up and quit yoga two weeks ago. I now enjoy no less than three erections a day ever since. Thank you, Joe.

    • Hahaha. Great bit Joe.

Nancy, the instructor, deserves kudos for her patience. And man, looks like your face is gonna pop, you got so red. Thanks--a fun watch.

    • Joe! While yoga is a centuries old amazing approach to overall health and well being, Bikram yoga (known in yogi circles as McYoga) is the antithesis of what yoga is all about. Locked knees and squeezed tight glutes do nothing but promote injury.

Oh, yeah, I redlighted your piece. Nothing personal, I just don't jive with your comedy. It comes across like an audition tape for the Daily Show.

    • I got "Bent," so thanks, Joe.

Joe is every man. Or at least that's what he wants us to believe. And that is the conceit and key to his success as Current's comic boy wonder.

You're in for another round of parody, wisecracks, and self-deprecation courtesy of Joe and his pasty-white skin. Overall, the result is entertaining. The productions that he and Hassan have done aren't particularly sexy, but then again, you ain't watching for the cinematography. And, they've got like a zero budget.

That Joe and Hassan are able to crank out the content and keep the subjects entertaining, is a testament to the power of this dynamic duo. Joe and Hassan, keep up the good work. Get some pals to write some more comic riffs for you, and fill out your repertoire. The "Joe Gets..." titles are catchy. Write more jokes and keep 'em coming. Greenlight, of course.
