Hidden in Akasaka, the part of tokyo with all the tv network hqs (the rockefeller center area of japan), is a ninja themed restaurant. most of the cuisine is european in nature... but apparantly everything from design to food preparation is in ninja form... amazingly this silliness is reasonably priced compared to much of what's around in tokyo Check out the ninja cocktail list on the review... at least that part is in English...(mostly) somewhat of a new hip place over there.

    • I love this place. Ninja is a themed restaurant based around, you guessed it, ninjas. What an experience. It was a little hard to find because the outside of the building is completely black and you sort of have to guess where the door is. It was a little hard to find because the outside of the building is completely black and you sort of have to guess where the door is. Once inside, we were led through a pitch-black maze and had to say the magic word (“Ninja”) which let down a bridge enabling us to cross over a large pit in the ground. All the servers and busboys were in full ninja attire, and they even had ninja magicians performing tricks at each table. The menu was inventive and unusual, and the food was delicious, albeit pricey. Some of the dishes were even cooked at the table with “Ninja magic” [aka flashy fire tricks]. Definitely a fun, worthwhile experience.
