A great visual gallery of one of the many ways Simpsons hides gems of cultral references within their previously witty and currently idiotic gags.

    • I would make a strong case about its significant contribution to our generation's apathy, cynicism and overall jadedness.
I've often wondered how people in different countries relate to The Simpsons. I watched it in Spanish for many years and the humor comes across completely differently. American sarcasm doesn't translate too well and most of the gags were completely rewritten and adapted for the local Spanish market.

    • Well, of course, being an animation, the actors never age (not visibly anyway), nor do they ever end up in the tabloids. Timeless and pure.

    • Fun! I love the Simpsons. I agree with my hubby that a strong case could be made that The Simpsons is the best show of our generation, based on longevity, consistent relevancy, and humor.
