This site is great cause it encapsulates the sorts of things people do when they're trying to relate to people they feel alienated from: False jocularity, awkward over-familiarity, stumbling attempts to create a sense of cultural rapprochement, patronizing attempts at boosting egos up by comparing to famous people... Substitute "black people" for just about anything else, and the site still works. Just funny.

    • You gotta love modern day coonery.....I do not even know where to begin with this! What is this and who are this black people who agreed to participate in this? I am all about comedy even at the expense of a "racial" group but this is just on some minstrel type stuff. These black people that like you do that shuck and jive and call you master too?!?! Or do they like you so much cause you promised them their walking papers?!!! Nice locs to the guy in the picture and i hope you know where they originate and why you are doing them a disservice by being on that trash website...

    • I met the (brilliant) guy who made this site, Jonah Peretti. One gets the sense he is still most recognized as "the (brilliant) guy who made this site" -- like 5 years ago now.

      Ah, to live in the shadow of one's viral media...
